World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
My name is Tatyana. I'm 51. I was born in Saint-Petersburg but then at the age of 25 moved to Israel. I graduated from Medical University. I'm a nurse at one of the best hospitals of Israel. I work with newborn babies. I love my work. I'm divorced. I've got two grown-up children. My son is married and I have a granddaughter. My daughter has finished her service in the Israeli Defense Force. I've visited 25 countries so far and to visit many more.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
Mrs Globe is one of the most prestigious pageant for women, but the fundraiser for WIN foundation- charity organization which helps women and kids going through domestic violence. With special trainings from the CEO of Mrs Globe and WIN foundation Dr. Tracy Kemble women can feel empowerment, inspiration, rescue themselves and start the new happy way of living. Me myself know how is it to be the victim of violence. Thanks God I had power to stop it and open the news chapter of my life’s book, but since then I feel need to help and support women at the same situation. With the great support of WIN I can do it better. That’s why I felt I am on the right way.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
At the local casting I was chosen as the Mrs Israel Globe Classic 2017 and then competed in Mrs Globe Classic international final in Palm Springs, California.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
I was invited to take part and I wanted to prove to myself that I can do something special.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I love my country and was dreaming to show the real face of Jewish people, whose reputation I know sometimes is not so good. I wanted to tell that we stays for the peace, open minded, friendly, generous nationality.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Since 1996 the Mrs. Globe pageant has been producing one of the most recognized and celebrated international pageants for misses in the world. It is a celebration of beauty, culture, and charity for women.
Mrs. Globe has been hosted as a cultural and tourism event in the following countries: Mexico, Greece, Latvia, USA, U.S. Virgin Islands, Slovak Republic, China
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
The competition lasted for four days. On the first day we had a gorgeous party on which we were already judged, how we speak, communicate. On the second day we were to give speech. The judge you not only for you appearance but also for intelligence and performance. The basically judge you on everything.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
The competition gave me the opportunity to meet successful women from all over the world. Now I know that almost in every part of the world I have a Mrs. Globe sister. The organization of the competition was on a very high level. It was like a fairytale and I felt myself a real queen.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I heard about the Mrs Globe Classic pageant from my national director Anna Shchapova former Mrs Globe 2012. I liked the idea of such a great event for women who is over their 45, but still pretty, talented, successful, wise and just gorgeous can share their experiences to the entire world, manifest themself and be inspiration for others.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
After the competition I received a lot of invitations from different organizations. For example, I took part in a fashion show and participated in a cosmetics commercial.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
I believe that my greatest achievement is my children and grandchildren and my favorite job. The fact I got to the final of the competition and for the title of most spirited is also a great achievement for me.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
I tried to emphasize my strong qualities like gentleness, openness and charm. However, I tried to be honest and real.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
My philosophy is to be honest and real and people get to like me quickly. It’s not only the external beauty. The internal beauty is even more important.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
The moment I heard my name I experienced real happiness and pride for myself. I imagined how my children and my parents would be proud of me.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It’s like a dream come true. It gives me self-confidence and power. It was the best present for my 50-th birthday from myself.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
I became more self-confident. I have less complexes now. It’s the win over myself at the first place. Now I feel like I can do much more for this world and I’ll definitely do my best.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
I’m happy and proud that there are some girls out there that will probably learn from me. And I hope it will somehow help them .
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I feel my responsibility. You have to be on a high level and give a good example.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Just believe in yourself. Feel like you are already a queen.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
At first you need to consult a professional designer who will help you understand what you want, what is best for you. The dress should highlight your best parts. I’ve looked at around a hundred dresses , I sent them to my designer and she advised me what to choose.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
You need to prepare for the interview, to think what you are going to say. However you need to be yourself , to be real and honest.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
The competition is for me a little three months summer adventure. During this period you should turn into a beauty. You should train the ability to talk nicely, to perform. I was on a diet during preparation period and did a lot of sports. You should work every day and then you will definitely see the change in yourself and get to like yourself more.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I haven't learnt my speech well enough because I knew there would a translator. But the translator didn’t give it the same way I would do. So in the future I'm not going to rely on other people. I'll do everything myself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Some of them weren't polite enough and made conflict because of trifles like hair-style.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
I've had many cooperations in commercials and movies. I worked for a long time for Take2 modelling agency.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?
I'd like to continue to take part in charity projects and other interesting projects.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
What’s more important I'm planning to show the world that even at the age of 50 it's not too late to achieve something you've dreamed about all your live and I'm going to achieve much more.
