World Class Designers Magazine would like to welcome amazing brand MIASHAN.


World Class Designers Magazine: Please tell us about your brand.

MIASHAN is a British Luxury Couture fashion brand founded 2017, launching their online store October 2018. There are three elements that fuse the brand together; Ladies Couture, Mia's Secret Garden and Shana's Winter Wardrobe. All designs are original and manufactured within the UK. The shoe line coming out later this year, are handmade and manufactured in Milan and Dubai.


World Class Designers Magazine: Tell us about the history of your brand.

We launched our online store in 2018. We realized to entice our customers, we needed to promote MIASHAN. 2019 to date has been blending ancient and new technologies in our collections for our customers.


World Class Designers Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.

What to say about myself, other than I am on journey to seek the meaning of creativity, to be in a place of limitless imagination and to be able to bring this to reality. I strive to create original unique designs always absorbing and learning a continuous morph sesh both with myself and creation. I want to create designs that the wearer and the design merge as one oozing confidence, intellect and glamour.


World Class Designers Magazine: Tell us about your collection we are showcasing.

Each collection is celebrating and showcasing the empowerment of being a woman. Whether the collection features old Hollywood glamour or Egyptian tones, collectively it is showing powerful strong women being a force to reckon with.


World Class Designers Magazine: What was your inspiration?

Egyptian and Architectural tones are the source of where my creative ideals morph.


World Class Designers Magazine: Which major fashion shows were you able to showcase your collection so far?

MIASHAN entered a competition 2019 for emerging brands we got through to feature in New York Fashion Week for emerging brands A/W February 2020 with Flying Solo Couture Fashion Show at PIER 59 New York. We were then invited to showcase our collection October 2020 at Paris Fashion Week where we were featured in a number of amazing publications inclusive of Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire.

We then were approached to showcase our collection at Paris/New York and Milan fashion week with Fashionweekstudio, but due to lockdowns, this was cancelled. But luckily in the last moments we were invited to show case with Flying Solo February 2021 A/W 2022 for New York Fashion Week.

We launched our own initiative a fashion platform to support emerging brands and creative global The Great British Garden Fashion Show. Where despite lockdowns we were able to feature a number of emerging brands from all over the world at Hampton Court Palace in July and October.

We are lucky to have been approached by a number of fashion platforms to showcase our collections from all over the world, this has been incredibly exciting to be invited.


World Class Designers Magazine: What local, national or international celebrities did you dress so far?

Finding the right PR agency is always key. But have been lucky to dress upcoming music artists and both British and international actresses featured on our instagram feed @miashan___


World Class Designers Magazine: What made you decide to become a fashion designer?

I love creating, I have a passion for fashion. I guess it just fell hand in hand.


World Class Designers Magazine: What are some of your highlights as a designer?

Creation is the ultimate high for me, its endless learning, evolving, pushing limits. World Class Designers Magazine: What were some obstacles as a young designer that you had to overcome? I guess it was knowing where and how to start. I knew I loved fashion but knowing where to go was a challenge. But when my twin girls arrived, looking to their future. What I had perceived to be a challenge, now seemed straight forward. I just followed my vision continuously absorbing from all learning platforms to assist me with the delivery of my first collection and setting realistic goals along with ensuring funding was in place to make my dream possible.


World Class Designers Magazine: As a established Designer what are your goals now?

To strive to bring out original exciting collections suited for my customers.


World Class Designers Magazine: What can we expect from you in 2021 as a designer?

Currently working on A/W 2022 collection in both ladies and girls range. Our couture shoe collection is coming out, launching our fashion initiative for supporting emerging creatives through the Great British Garden Fashion Show. 1st show at Hampton Court Palace in July and October.

World Class Designers Magazine: What legacy would you like to leave behind?

To be recognized as a world class luxury couture fashion brand. We have also initiated a British fashion platform for emerging brands and creatives from all settings global. The Great British Garden Fashion Show where we showcase upcoming creatives ultimate goal to be recognized as a place for designers to be warmly received and celebrated creating incredible collaborations.
