I grew up between south of France, Marseille and the Indian Ocean (Reunion Island).

I studied in Malta, USA and Spain. When I came back to France, I went in Graduate School to study Human Ressources and Relation for a year.  Today, I still part-time studying in Psychology. The opportunity to travel just gave me what we call "wanderlust". Any time I come back home, I feel good but I also feel that the world is calling me. Yes, travel and studies does define me.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?

According to me, Women are the best incarnation of the Soft Power since the dawn time. The "Women Empowerment" is the term society chose when Women start showing we do have Power in the society, we are just starting to remove the Soft in front of Power.

As a minority, women will always have to prove. And if a consciousness is rising today, I am personally convinced that by the years, we will have less to prove and more to just remember.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

Miss Excellence is the former "Miss Prestige National" created in 2010 by Genevieve de Fontenay.  Today, the president is Christiane Lillio, Miss France 1968.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

I always been the friend to support friends that were running for beauty pageant like "Please vote for my gorgeous, amazing, wonderful, magnetic, marvelous friend !" With the fact that my grand mother always have been supportive on this matter, I felt like this could be a way to make a her proud. As the time was going by, the limit of age in France is 24, I told myself "it's now or never".  The spirit was let's give it a try, this will be a new experience in life.

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

In France, we do have a lot of choices of Beauty pageant, you may even be spoiled with choice.  What made me chose Miss Excellence it was because it seemed that this pageant was offering you the experience of pageant in a simple way.  Miss Excellence Pageant System is running by experienced volunteers like a big family. And almost 2 years later, I realize my impressions were true, I have no regrets.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

To Participate to Miss Excellence France, you need to be crowned in your region.  France is divided in 26 historical region thus you have 26 regional elections each year. Those 26 region's queen are qualified for the National Finale in January each year.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

You are judged on your beauty, elegance, speech, general culture and catwalk.

This is a non-exhaustive list.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

You begin the year with Miss Excellence, there is a 10 days stay for preparation. During this week, we are visiting the hosted city, we are participating to cultural events, visits, diner but also filming portrait of each girl, shooting photos, Press conference (...) between rehearsals for the show. I feel lucky and blessed to have met such caring people during this adventure. I made lifetime memories.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

Climate change is a matter I've been sensitize from my young age and is concern that each of us should be involved in. I did was involve as a person which is why I chose to use my titled to raise awareness, participate to clean up of natural parks

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I participate to television talkshow, interviews, radio interviews, TV news interviews, magazine interviews, magazine cover, fashion shows (...)

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

I do not agree with the term "stand out" but one thing that I do and preach is stay natural and be yourself.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

Event though people was telling so, I was very surprised. So many questions came into my mind but I felt happy.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

It means that you embody and represent the beauty of your country for a given moment.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

The person I was at the beginning of this year is so much different from the person I am today.

Miss Excellence is the school for self-confidence, it helps you grow as a person, it makes you shine a little bit more but you are also learning how to run and engineering an event, which is relevant for my career in terms of developing skills.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?

You learn to love yourself because it seems that people you don't even know loves you more than you actually do.  Body image is more complicated because there is a standard so here, whether you chose to be standard whether you chose to be yourself, which I did.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

It feels heavy on my shoulder because what I chose to show will have an influence I have no power on.  It's a big responsibility to take.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

There were no strategy. Indeed, I was here for the experience first so establishing a strategy did not come to mind.

But once again, the state of mind was "Be yourself because other are already taken".

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

You need to think about what to wear in advance, what suits you the most, so it is a lot of shopping, visiting partner's boutiques.  Then a global self-care, hair, nails, sport (...)

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Upright posture and one feet before another haha

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

The most stunning is always the best idea.

You need to be conscious of your self. That is to say you body form, head form, hair style to chose the right dress.

Here the strategy is to enhance your qualities and hide more inestetic flaws.

According to me, the glitter the better!

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?

I don't know how many times I said it but be yourself, it is the key.  No learning by heart, talking slowly, take the time to breath and speaking as a casual conversation.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

There were no false note !

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

Wanting to win so bad that you forget to embrace the experience.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

I do modeling on my spare time.

And about the acting, I am more the one who watches the films haha

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?

January 18th I will pass the crown to a new french ambassador.

I plan to participate to International Pageant in 2020.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

It doesn't matter "who you are, or where you come from or what you look like" you are able to make the difference if you embrace yourself.
