World Class Designers Magazine: Please tell us about your brand.
JUS10H is a clothing brand that specializes in Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s clothing featuring tailor-made customer garments with a signature patch for custom detail.
World Class Designers Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.
My name is Justin Haynes and I am 37 years old. JUS10H has been my dream since middle school. I started working at The Gap when I was 15 and stayed there for 13 years before becoming Regional Director for Luxury Retailers.
World Class Designers Magazine: Tell us about your collection we are showcasing.
JUS10H designs are edgy and out-of-the-box, but are also classic and polished. For this collection, I pulled themes from my favorite childhood tv shows so it will definitely be memorable.
World Class Designers Magazine: What was your inspiration?
The 1960s and 1970s are my inspiration. I like recreating the looks of that time making a Modern Vintage look for the 21st century.
World Class Designers Magazine: Which major fashion shows were you able to showcase your collection?
NYFW(twice), LAFW(twice), Miami Fashion Week, Greenville Fashion Week
World Class Designers Magazine: What local, national or international celebrities did you dress?
I’m starting to dress quite a few which is humbling. Recently Disney Channels Briana Roy.
World Class Designers Magazine: What made you decide to become a fashion designer?
Being a fashion designer has been my dream since Middle School. I’ve always wanted make my own clothing. Bringing my visions to life is important to me.
World Class Designers Magazine: What were some obstacles as a young designer that you had to overcome.
Worrying about the opinions of others and comparing myself to other designers I felt were better than me were things I struggled with in the beginning. I had to learn that I needed to be the best ME possible and that means some will like me and some won’t. I’m finally okay with that and am able to stay true to my vision.
World Class Designers Magazine: As a established Designer what are your goals now.
One major goal was to become an international designer and that’s now coming to fruition. I want my brand to be a worldwide house of fashion. I want everyone to know #JUS10H
World Class Designers Magazine: What can we expect from you in 2019 as a designer?
Just like my brand, expect the unexpected. I plan to go bigger and harder in 2019.
