What women empowerment means to me is being able to overcome a circumstance that was previously denied to other women and opening up that door of opportunity for the women around around me while offering genuine support and encouragement.

My very first pageant was my most recent pageant where I was crowned to be the first ever Señorita Cuba 2019 competing along side Miss Art Deco 2019 and miss Cuba U.S. 2019.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

From a very young age beauty and modeling always caught my attention unfortunately I did not have the height requirements to become a professional model so I then discovered pageantry where I was inspired by the way the women walk so confidently, spoke with intelligence and carried themselves with grace. I knew it was something I would love to be apart of and so I decided if I wanted to join what better time then NOW to turn my goal into a reality.

I’m a Cuban / American women and I choose to compete in Señorita Cuba to represent the Cuban island and the Cuban women around me.Unfortunately Since 1968, Cuba stopped competing internationally at miss universe because of the financial crisis and political issues in Havana.
