World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.

I love life, I love people, I love nature , I respect other people’s choices and personalities and demand from others the same respect towards myself, I love articulating beauty and class! I love seeing beauty all around me whether it is architecture, clothes, art, people, behaviors, I love good manners and authenticity. Fake appalls me. I am optimistic though at times I have to fight hard to maintain my optimism.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?

It means that women need to cultivate themselves, have access to education and to equal opportunities so they can improve their individual inclination and use their best qualities to do their best. Empowering women means to get it in their heads that they are entitled to be treated as human beings. I believe in the greatness of the human nature in the sense that we may overcome weaknesses such as sex discrimination. Male and female are to complete each other and all people should need to get a share of wonderful moments in life. Life is a gift to all. We should all cherish it

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

The first time I took part in a pageant was in 2017. I represented Greece at Mrs Globe pageant in China. In August 2019, I had the immense pleasure of joining the Ms World International pageant in Miami USA which turned out to be a blast

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

I considered it a challenge and at the same time an honor to be “Mrs Greece Globe”

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

I felt I needed a title. Didn’t get one the previous time. Lol

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

It has to do with respecting each and every woman for the single and unique qualities they have. We are all blessed to be unique, this is what makes us all shine. So glow by being yourself is the message.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

We are judged on national costume, swimsuit, posing, interview and evening gown.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

Ms World International organized the most interesting and exciting activities for all contestants. We all had a great time and the chance to bond genuinely with one another

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

I am a singer so I've taken part in non profit concerts quite a few times. There are certain people I look up to for trying to contribute and help others anonymously. My trainer falls in this category and helps raising funds and food and all necessary stuff for an institution in Penteli for children aged from 0 months to seven years old. We are all invited to help in whatever way we can.

In my country there are institutions like “kivotos you kosmou” and “xamogelo tou paidiou” that take care of children in need, orphans, abused or abandoned, and all people are invited to offer. This is not something you wait to do as a queen. As long as our world makes room for injustice, maltreatment and suffering we should all look after people in need . If we are to be called humans.

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I appeared on three Greek magazines and at a national beauty pageant.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

My first achievement was that I survived a turbulent and contradictory family environment. After school I managed to enter first at the University and graduated while I was working at the same time. After graduation I had to get to grips with the reality of little to less professional opportunities and only found shut doors and people who tried to discourage me from pursuing my dream! However, I am persevering and though Lady Luck may not have been a good friend of mine until now-I assure you I haven’t gone as far as I’d love to- I am alive and kicking and still dreaming big!

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

I do not consider myself beautiful . I may be charming in my own way, everyone has their own charm, everyone is unique.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

Entertainer of the Year was the first prize to be announced that night during the Ms World International pageant and the first title I personally won! It was really important to me so it really felt good!!! Afterwards I was awarded MsuniverseMrs and felt immense joy! I am grateful ! It was certainly a good trip for me this one in Miami, USA.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

It is important to look after yourself but relying just on your looks is never enough. Plus I believe you have to double check your behavior and become more human and humane. For me it also means being more responsible and try to look as one.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

I had the opportunity to test my limits and took one step further towards self love. Odd as it may seem you may improve your self confidence. You meet new people and may end up with new good friends and of course traveling is awesome!!!

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?

It’s a good incentive to take better care of yourself if you've ever had the tendency to get lazy, both on the inside and out. If you come from an environment full of contradictions, you have to be a fighter in life and rely just on yourself and grow your inner strength. This has its own beauty-the power to forgive and move on has its beauty too. International pageants have to do with strong women with strong personalities. Plenty of them had to overcome emotional or physical abuse and they all offer in the society they live in

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

I don’t know if I ‘m inspiration just yet. If I was to ever be honored in such a sense, I ’d like to convey the message of hard work, the significance of persistence in your dreams and constant improvement. Money rules - if you were lucky enough to be born well off, first of all be grateful to life, God or the Universe, work on your talents and spread some generosity through the world. In the case you have less financial means, never give up and keep up the good work all the same, so that when your chance to shine comes up, you may send out your own message with the essence of your unique existence and your talent whatever that may be

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

I ’m trying to be myself.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

I brushed my English up and caught up with some work out, cause, yes, I may lose self discipline at times! All other preparation is being taken care of by life and the lessons you ‘ve managed to learn up to the exact point if your life

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Watch the professionals, learn by them but always have your own style cause imitating will never work.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

Discuss with one or more designer or stylist what his/her opinion and view would be on you looking your best. Trust the pros. They know best

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?

Speak the truth, be real, your true self can be a magnet. Fakes are outdated, arrogance is out of the question. Never confuse self confidence with arrogance.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

Looking down while I was walking and not smiling enough.

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

You could trip or forget what you were about to say. It’s only natural.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

I only did a professional photo shoot for a men’s magazine like in my mid twenties. And I had a small part in a short film. Hope I get the chance to do more! They are fascinating fields!!! I love them both !!!

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?

Contribute more to volunteer work ! I thank my fellow sisters queens on this, they are truly an inspiration to me.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

Leaving a legacy behind is huge! I don’t know if I ‘ll get this privilege! I wish I were a person who inspired others to accept and embrace themselves , cultivate their personality in the way that they are satisfied with themselves, go after their dreams and goals! Life is too short to set for disappointment or for people trying to keep you down! External beauty is nature’s blessing, embrace it! Inner beauty shines big time, embrace it too! Don’t waste your time being jealous, just get better! Besides, everyone is unique! Go for what you seek, the Universe is abundant! World Class Beauty Queens Magazine would like to say thank you for this amazing interview.
