I’m Genesis C. Walcher but I am known as Patricia Javier in showbiz. I am married to the finest Chiropractor in the Philippines Doc Rob D. Walcher and a mother to Robert and Ryan James. Currently, I’m the CEO of Walcher Health and Wellness (Philippines).
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What does women Empowerment mean to you?
Gender disparities are still deeply-rooted in every society. Women suffer from lack of access to decent work and face occupational bias. Women have still challenging access to resources, status and well-being, that mostly favors men. Most often, in some parts of the world, women are denied access to basic education and health care. Sadly, they are also victims of violence and discrimination and are under-represented in political and economic decision-making processes.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT ensures that they are provided with the opportunity to have control over their lives. This provides them the chance to enjoy and participate actively in social, political and economic domains. It is about realizing true equality for women.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: Tell us about your pageant history.
Among all the pageants I joined, it is still the Bb. Pilipinas the most memorable. The Binibining Pilipinas is the most prestigious beauty pageant in the Philippines and one of the most anticipated competitions in the world. It opened a lot of doors for me like joining the showbiz industry, modelling and the Noble Queen of the Universe 2019. In 2019, I had the chance to represent my country, Philippines in the Noble Queen of the Universe 2019, and won the title. WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Beauty pageants have been considered part of our (Filipino) culture: through the years, the concept of beauty pageant has changed from merely personal “justification” to helping women of all ages to feel more confident and to know their self-worth.
Winning titles is a potential power. I want to utilize that power to make a positive difference to other people. This is something I am so passionate about. It stems from my personal experience and I want to turn this into a platform for my advocacy.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
There are few good reasons why I chose to compete in Noble Queen of the Universe 2019. On a personal note, joining beauty pageants is a Confidence Builder. Gaining confidence is good for any person of any age. Learning how to present yourself in public is paramount to be successful in life. Beauty pageant, like Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc., helps me refine how I present myself. First impressions are so important in life, no matter how unfair it can be.
Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc. provides me the window of opportunities for community involvement. This is the best side of pageantry. This gives me another platform to give back, and pay forward. It gives me the opportunity to network with numerous organizations, work with them and help them spread the awareness of my advocacy and the advocacy of the Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please
tell us what is it about?
In general, beauty pageants allow women (beautiful and professional) to have an international stage to voice out issues and causes that are dear to their hearts, particularly on issues that equalize gender imbalances. Fortunately, Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc., is not just a beauty pageant that parades the finest Mothers/Wives, but it provides us enough influence to have an impact. With Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc., we recognize and value women, in general, as the foundation to all societies.
This is an opportunity for the Mothers and Wives to have a voice and compete friendly with others that represent their respective country. Yes it is commercial but it promotes some kind of standards that are unachievable by most people. We are impelled biologically to be an inspiration to all mothers and wives in the Universe.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What are you being judged on during the competition?
For a noble cause, Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc. aims to build a global community where sisterhood is established towards a common goal: to enlighten people about the vital role that women play in the society. In this way, they will no longer be oppressed and will be brave enough to be their best, professionally and personally. Further, the organization hopes to establish RESPECT: Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd, Inc. (NQULI) for women to gain greater respect in the society.
Just like with our beauty pageants, contestants are judged on beauty, poise, personality and stage presence. But apart from that, with Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc. we are chosen based on how we perform our role as model to our community and to mothers and wives, in particular and to all women, in general. We have the responsibility to portray a positive image 24/7 during our reign.
But above all, we are judged based on our advocacy and how we deliver and perform our advocacies vis-à-vis to the advocacy of the organization. Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc. provides the perfect opportunity for us to fulfill our advocacy and develop ourselves as human beings. The organization give us to chance to become the very best version of ourselves possible, and allows us to give back to the communities and charities that have helped us and others.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
Joining beauty pageant always fascinates me, even until now. Apart from the Noble Queen of the Universe, one of the biggest pageants I joined was the Bb. Pilipinas. The Binibining Pilipinas (Filipino: Bb. Pilipinas; English: Miss Philippines) is a national beauty pageant in the Philippines that selects Filipina representatives to compete in one of the major international beauty pageants.
Although I didn’t bring home even one of the crowns, but I brought with me the best experiences and lessons learned that prepared me, eventually, when I joined Noble Queen of the Universe in 2019. Being in a pageant teaches me to be confident and love myself; one has to be confident and love oneself regardless of the way what others see you. It helped me become confident while learning to accept me, every aspect, just the way I am.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
We spend a good amount of money on illnesses. Others are making extra efforts to practice healthy habits. At pivotal times as the present, it is essential to provide direction for health and wellness initiatives, identify and set priorities, and develop clear health objectives. Health and Wellness, this is the platform I am seriously volunteering: providing them with valuable educational resources and access resources, and the most important thing of all, exclusivity and involvement.
I take enormous efforts by investing in educating people about lifestyles and wellness. My Health and Wellness platform provides me the foundation for addressing problems and creating solutions. The advocacy is a critical component of a public health and involves a great deal of responsibility. The interventions, and programs in efforts to influence everyone to change will help advance the well-being of communities.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What appearances have you done with your title?
After winning the title Noble Queen of the Universe in 2019, it has created tremendous changes in my life and opened a lot of doors. We stayed in USA for quite some time, and it ‘separated’ me from showbiz. I never thought I would be getting offers again appearing in TV shows but the Noble Queen of the Universe 2019 title gave me countless opportunities and blessings. I started getting hosting jobs, modelling and TV guesting. Up until now, I am still doing rounds for my advocacy with my co-queens. Life has never been the same again after I won the title.

But my greatest achievement is my 15 years of blissful marriage with Doc Rob D. Walcher and the mother of two handsome young gentlemen, Robert and Ryan James.
They are my constant reminders to on my purpose and be grounded all the time. They are my building blocks that enable me to form our own version of success.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I know joining pageants now that I am a mother to two handsome young gentlemen is entirely different from my younger years. I developed beautiful flaws, but it somehow gave me another sense of confidence. I may say that what made me stood out was because I didn't settle to my flaws and I always yearn for improvement and growth. I believe that humans as we are we will always have flaws and wounds and even scars. Feeling sorry for yourself because you have them, or feeling that you are bad or inferior because you have them, will only crush you. You need confidence not shame. Nothing is more powerful than having confidence. When you truly believe you can create what you envision, you will be never be afraid of whoever you are competing with. Confidence makes you stand out from the rest. To add to that, personality and charm, as well. These make you irresistible to miss.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
There is nothing quite like the feeling of a real beauty queen. I remember, when I had my first national beauty pageant, I was waiting form my name to be called for the semis but I missed. When I joined another national beauty pageant (and international) I was transported to the same spot again. But this time, when my name was called there was like a few seconds of nothingness.
I was snapped back when the crown landed on my head. I was crowned as the first ever Noble Queen of the Universe in 2019 and the feeling was enormous. I felt numbed.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
There is more to being a beauty queen than just a crown. A beauty queen has the qualities that make her inspiration. A beauty queen is generous. She shares her talents, skills, as well as her time as a way to help others and make the world around her a better place to be. She represents her title alongside with the personal advocacy. A beauty queen is strong, and courageous, and encourages others to do the same. A beauty queen has confidence that springs from within and helps bring out the best in others. She supports others in their endeavors.
A beauty queen always carries the crown with utmost respect and pride. She wears the crown that has potential power to make a positive difference to other people. A beauty queen is a woman with a soul for service.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
To us Filipinos, a beauty pageant is part of our culture. We find its purpose appealing. Beauty pageants offer life-changing experiences that help women achieve personal and professional success.
Honestly, I compete in pageants not just to win and get another crown. I joined because it affords me the opportunity to have influence on people and make a lasting impact in their lives. Underneath all the glitz and glamour is the opportunity for massive power to share my advocacy. I made life-long friendships and enjoyed one-of-a-kind experiences with my co-queens that I will take with me forever. Now, my friendship with them helped me with my community service and creating social impact. They also helped me in figuring out the best way to make I am capable of making a much bigger impact than I ever thought possible.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: How did pageants helped your self-esteem and body image?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they always say. But as somebody who believes in self-esteem, I found the question about the relationship between pageants and self-esteem stimulating. There are many aspects to pageants besides “beauty”, but the focus seems zeroing on appearance. What is beautiful has largely been defined by standards. The concern with this is body image plays an integral role in our self-esteem. But appearance is only one factor among the standards in beauty pageants. There are immense benefits beauty pageants offer; building new friendship, confidence build up and the chance to showcase your talents and advocacy. These help me develop a healthy self-esteem. It provides me the ability to acknowledge I am uniquely made up of both strengths and weaknesses. Above all, it provides me an understanding that we are all diverse individuals with varying gifts and flaws.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I will continue to be an inspiration not just for young girls but for mothers and wives, as well. I believe that mothers and wives are essentials to our community. So, I will continue to inspire and work with them, so they will understand and appreciate this potential. Mothers and wives, just like these young girls, must embrace the potentials they have for change. As an inspiration to them, I am moved to help them be the change to make this world better than it was.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What is your stage strategy to win the judges over?
There is not much a secret to win a title. Nor a strategy. I guess, what made me won the judges’ approval was my trust and passion for the organization’s advocacy. Just remember that your personality is crucial in the pageant. As soon as you decide to join you are being watched! And pray always. If this is your destiny, no one will ever question it.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: How did you prepare for your competition?
Pageant preparation is surprisingly challenging. The preparation is actually tougher than the actual pageant. But in every pageant I joined I always came prepared because I was not only competing for the crown, but I was competing for my advocacy and platform.
I am just grateful for my team that helped me with all the preparation. This is very crucial to any pageant wannabe. My team made sure small details were taken cared of while I took care on my Mental and Physical Preparations. Additionally, preparing for a pageant could be a spiritual experience for me. Prayer is the best support system when one is involved in a stressful endeavor like a pageant. What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? Walk with confidence. Wearing high heeled shoes is no walk in the park. Remember good posture and walk strong, straight and confident. What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? Wear what is comfortable to you. Go for dresses that impress the judges and audience.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What are your tips for winning interview? Do your research and engage yourself in discussions with friends and family members with current events. This will get you better answers. Read a lot. It’s the best preparation for you to form your own opinions.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I don’t believe with mistakes, but only opportunities for learning. If I am to recall, I think I should be taking more time enjoying the opportunities with my family. Bringing them to this journey is sharing with them this beautiful part of my existence.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
I think all the girls did fairly well. When one appreciates the other, the tendency of looking at their mistakes becomes irrelevant. I found no mistakes made by the other girls because they too did their part well.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: Any modeling or acting experience?
Yes. I am TV actress, singer, model and TV host.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What are your plans for 2021 as a Queen?
I will continue with my advocacy. This can be challenging and, sometimes, a bit intimidating. But I know that challenges are always attached to whatever we are doing. But I like to think of this advocacy as active choices we make to improve our wellbeing. While there may be a need to address other concerns- Health and Wellness should be the core of everything. Advocating for Health and Wellness, to me, encompasses social factors. We can be at peace with who we are, under all circumstances, when we are all healthy. As the new ambassador for Health and Wellness of Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd. Inc., I believe that Health and Wellness addresses many things. Making healthy choices is impactful to the well-being of the community as well. I know that we can make changes at the individual level. At a larger scale, it is important to increase education on Health and Wellness and that ultimately will have an impact the health of whole population.
WORLD CLASS BEAUTY QUEENS: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
We are always caught up in the day-to-day living and it can be tough to take a moment and think about our legacy. After all, we don’t have the option of not leaving one. But being asked, this made me realized and asked myself how far I am living my life. Is it my being a loving mother and a faithful wife? Is it my title or my advocacy? When I think about philanthropy I picture prominent and famous example like Bill Gates. This may sound philanthropy unrealistic. But I believe I don’t have to be a billionaire to make a difference. Smaller acts may benefit people’s lives greatly.
As the Noble Queen of the Universe 2091 and the present ambassador of Health and Wellness, I believe that Generosity starts at home. Teaching my children how to live a life of values, become good human beings, and have love in their lives, these I may consider as the preamble to my ultimate dream in life…to be a philanthropist. The impact of this brings forth results that may become the start point for others and the reason for them to do the same.
What we need now may be very different from those of tomorrow. We all dream of the world to become a better place for our children and our children’s children. If we work for it the right way, we can make a huge difference and bring goodness in the world. Let us leave a good impact to this world…because this will inspire others to do better and the next generations to do their best.
