World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I am a United States American Veteran. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I am currently completing a second Master’s Degree. This degree will be in Education with a concentration on obtaining my Type 75 Principal Certification. I am an Illinois School Board of Education licensed instructor certified to teach Psychology, Sociology and Special Education Classes. I currently work as an International Baccalaureate Middle Grades Special Education Teacher. I have years of experience developing personalized education plans for students with varying abilities. I received a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Ministerial Education on February 23, 2020.
I am a Financial Trader on the International Forex Market which generates assets in the trillions of dollars daily. I realized there is enough wealth available for everyone to enjoy when they are given access to the right information. I worked on mastering this skill set by becoming a faithful member of the New Levels No Devils Investment Trade Group directed by Timothy “Tee” Smith, known for his financial acumen and progressive leadership. By becoming a faithful member of this group I was able to enjoy learning how to copy and paste trade ideas, from experienced traders, into a money application on my cell phone or laptop and watch it grow, multiply and compound as an additional stream of income in my brokerage account. Additionally, I am a member of the All Nations Worship Assembly located in Chicago, Illinois pastored by Apostle Dr. Mathew Stevenson under Overseer and International Author, Apostle John Eckhardt.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about your education.
I have been certified by the Florida School Board of Education, the Arizona Board of Education and the Illinois School Board of Education to teach grammar and high school grades. I have a Bachelor Degree in Psychology; Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Educational Ministry. I am in the last semester of my programmatic study to earn my Type 75 Principal Certification with the purpose of running my own Chicago Public School contracted Charter School.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment mean to you?
Empowerment to me is when one can live the quality of life that makes them feel fulfilled and have the intellect, influence and resources available to guide others into living their best lives and becoming their most self-actualized selves.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
My professional pageant history begins with Madame Krystal Okeke (Miss Illinois USA Universal, 2016) who is the CEO of the Miss and Ms. America Nation Pageant System. I met her during one of her appearances at a fashion show for the 2019 Mayoral Candidate, Madame Dorothy Brown-Cook. She saw promise and a future for me in her Miss and Ms. America Nation Beauty Pageant System. My first inaugural crowning was on my birthday Sunday, December 30, 2018. This was my first year in pageantry and I grew by leaps and bounds due to the amazing mentorship of Madame Krystal Okeke who is one of the best in the industry. I diligently worked my platform until I completed all expectations contractually required of me as the Miss and Ms. America Nation Pageant Queen, Ms. Midwest America Nation 2018-2019. I was then graciously welcomed into a new pageant system, Ms. US World National/International, directed by the incomparable Madame Nancy-Ellen Martin (Ms. World International, 2017). I was excited and felt very honored to have received my new title as Ms. Illinois, US World 2019-2020. This system gave birth to a new platform of which I was granted the title, Ms. Illinois World Universal 2020-2021. I am currently using the regal opportunity of this queen platform to establish the service work of my non-for-profit organization titled, Provision Unlimited.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant? My first pageant opportunity was granted under the direction of Madame Krystal Okeke, Ms. Illinois USA Universal (2016) who is the CEO of the Miss and Ms. America Nation Pageant System. The national competition convened in Chicago, March 2019. It was a wonderful and exciting “first time” experience while also being a significant learning curve for me.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I have chosen to compete for my currently inducted title as Ms. Illinois World Universal, 2020-2021 because it is the next natural stage of progress and growth for me. I was very honored to have been granted this title by Director Jhan Knebel and Madame Nancy-Ellen Martin of the World Universal Pageant Platform. I have committed myself toward the discipline of growth and maturity in service to others on a new level. Pageant leaders are watching my life to see what gems of service I create with the opportunity of this national crown. I will solidify the professional structure of my Not-For-Profit work as a registered 501(c)3 with the purpose of freely giving to poor and underprivileged children and families while inspiring others to do the same. My body of work will speak for itself on the day of reckoning known at the national competition to be held in New Orleans in November (2021). World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Ms. World Universal encourages and empowers the women of today. World Universal is a unique organization that celebrates ALL women through the Universal language of love. Providing each candidate the opportunity for personal growth, self-expression and development - through stage presence, public speaking and international travel opportunities we recognize women’s strengths and accomplishments. With integrity, strong moral values, and promoting intelligent women of today Ms. World Universal provides unique opportunities for all women to achieve their goals. Ms. Universal World is known for its emphasis on inclusion and celebrates the inner and outer beauty of all women!
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
Poise, Presentation, Articulation and Humanitarian Service
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
Our 2020 competition was cancelled as a result of restrictions levied due to ramifications of the international pandemic our culture has been experienced. The next USA World Universal Competition will be held November 18-22, 2021 in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are excited and looking forward to this national competition.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for?
My platform is to primarily give resources to underprivileged children, low-income families, the homeless and all individuals in need. I have obtained my Articles of Incorporation paperwork registered through the State of Illinois and Cook County. I am developing my 501(c)3 organization called “Provision Unlimited” and people throughout Illinois will receive services and goods given to them through the generous donations of others. Individuals of all races, cultures, faiths, classes and developmental stages of life are welcomed and invited to partake in the supply of resources. It is my vision to have a pantry available to the public which offers food, clothing and home goods free of charge, throughout the week, provided by the charitable donations of sponsoring corporate partners. I recently launched my own resources and goods outlet store that offers all of its products to those in need throughout various communities for free! The store’s inventory includes the following products: fashion wear; beauty care; baby products and pampers; home goods and appliances; business/office materials; construction tools/equipment and senior care! This was an amazing milestone accomplishment for me of which I am so very grateful to God, my family and mentors for helping me to accomplish. I especially thank God for my mentor, Apostle Dr. Bridget C. Outlaw who is the CEO of Daughters of Destiny Enterprises Inc., for helping me to grow to my next level of community servicing. Without her training and support the manifestation of this “Miracle” in my life would not have been possible! My organization of choice in which I have contributed many hours of service and have happily donated various types of goods to is the “New Levels No Devils Trade Investment Group” directed by Timothy “Tee” Smith. I see this organization as being on the cutting edge of financial innovation in our communities. They teach anyone who has lost their income or has had their employment opportunities or income reduced how to create money through a money application on their cell phone or computer. Many people are experiencing a financial dearth due to ramifications of the pandemic currently being experienced as the result of the international spread of COVID-19. In my experience as a public school teacher, who vacations and does not work during the summer months, I have found the financial information the New Levels No Devils Investment Trade Group have taught to be quite lucrative. As a result, I primarily chose this organization to support during my 2020 reign to ensure that this knowledge is spread with great acceleration to empower those looking for new streams of income during these unprecedented economic times.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
I have conducted resource drives for our local communities. I facilitated a Thanksgiving Giveaway to various communities wherein my platform distributed tables of meat and trimmings for everyone’s Thanksgiving meal and beyond. I also facilitated a Christmas Toy drive for children and their families. So many wonderful gifts were distributed such as cars children could get into and drive, bikes, battery operated toys, dolls, super hero toys, trains, board games and gadgets of all kinds to include a guitar. I facilitated a Homeless Giveaway where sleeping bags were distributed that captured a person’s heat so they could stay alive and remain warm in temperature several degrees below zero. It was reported that people were able to stay warm using these sleeping bags in -60 to -70 degree weather. I will conduct a Community Giveaway in an effort to give families who live below the poverty line resources and home appliances they may not have been able to afford otherwise. It will be my pleasure to ensure that they get every product and item they are in need of for free!
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. In January 2020, I began my second Master’s Degree and will complete it by the summer of this year. This degree earned will be in Education with the purpose of securing my Principal Certification. I received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Ministerial Education conferred upon me on February 23, 2020 through the Shekinah Glory Theological Seminary which is accredited through the Bible Institute of America. I have been a certified public school teacher in three American cities being Florida, Arizona and Chicago. I have written the draft of a children’s book set which will be my first published volume of creative work. The literature that I am creating is designed to encourage children to become strong in their spiritual faith and believe in the God who creates miracles for mankind. I became a Veteran for the United States of America by serving as a Supply Secretary distributing resources to Military Officers and Enlisted Personnel and by serving this country according to my military contract for six years. Most recently, I launched my own products and goods store wherein all of the items are distributed free to the communities. Those in need are able to come to the store and shop for free within several categories of available goods.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
Showing concrete and spiritual beauty within and transparently throughout one’s life.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
The competition for 2020 was cancelled due to restrictions levied as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic. The next USA World Universal Competition will be held November 18-22, 2021 in beautiful, historic, New Orleans, Louisiana!
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It means to show the nature of God’s beauty upon your physical appearance along with the spiritual passion of eternal beauty “of love” to all. To shine forth a powerful physical and spiritual light reminiscent of angels.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
I have had the opportunity to compete in only one pageant competition thus far and it was quite a learning curve for me. I found out that studying for a pageant and actually experiencing/participating in a pageant are two very different experiences/challenges. However, I realize that it is life experiences and challenges that can mold and shape me into diamond like material that gives off a lustrous brilliance. I know as I stay this course and continue to work toward proficiency in my pageantry craft I will obtain greater levels of achievement, excellence and recognition in terms of my presentation, dedicated service and impact on the lives of others. Competing in pageantry will encourage me to remain poised, sharp and effective within this field of work.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self esteem and body image?
It has made me take a closer look at embracing practices that enhance vigorous energy, health and beauty. I have retained beauty regimen professionals to my private network who have taught me a lot about caring for, treasuring and maintaining one’s beauty. World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It feels so Amazing! I want girls to know they can be beautiful and accomplished without deference to one’s station or lot in life. Faith, focus, determination and dedication are key factors in launching one’s life successes.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
I will continue to genuinely smile at all times. I will respectfully look the judges in their eyes when I speak to them. I will carry myself with grace and poise. I would have rehearsed my dialogue with them many times over so that I will speak to them with confidence and purpose.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I listened to advice from administrators; received mentorship from my director and benefitted from consultation sessions with professionals.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walks?
I was taught that practice helps the outcome become perfect. Next, I would say envision yourself in the most positive way to get that unconquerable feeling of empowerment and it will show through in your body language as you walk the runway, thus inspiring others!
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress?
Choose a dress that compliments your body type; satisfies your sense of style and fits within the professional color range of your natural hues.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning an interview?
Be authentic and transparent with your heart. What’s from the heart reaches the heart!
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I wish I would have managed my time better in terms of having all of my guests, myself and my things in place well in advance of the proposed schedule. Rushing during the competition became a distraction during the process.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
It is important that girls project their voice and speak with confidence and intentional purpose.
Also, some of the girls didn’t seem to have evidence of a portfolio showing a full body of work demonstrating their level of local or national impact as a queen during their reign.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
I have done photo shoots. I have acted as an extra on several television shows such as: playing a reoccurring doctor on Chicago Med, recurring roles on Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and I have graced the Empire studios in an actress role as an extra employee. I played a teacher’s role as an extra in the movie, “Light It Up” with Baby Face productions along with the starring role of the (Amazing) former Ms. America Beauty Queen, Ms. Vanessa Williams herself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2021 as a Queen?
I am in the process of finalizing the legal structure of my non for profit agency “Provision Unlimited” to more effectively serve people of all walks of life including the underprivileged and low-income families throughout Illinois with generously donated funds. I have been newly appointed as President of the Zeta Chapter of our Omega Upsilon Pi Sorority. I will work with teams to help establish independent chapters in the Midwestern & Great Lakes Regions of the United States.
I will serve as an Administrative Assistant for the International Gathering of Prophets and Apostles (IGAP) where Apostle Jean Morris is the chief of that network. I hope to grow spiritually and professionally as I serve. I will work with Apostle Dr. Bridget C. Outlaw. She is the CEO of Daughter’s of Destiny Enterprises Inc. This is a 501(C)3 Not for Profit Organization which has been a Multi Consortium of over 100 Businesses and Not for Profit Organizations for the past two decades. Under her tutelage I will walk through the mentorship process of learning how to acquire goods and products and redistribute those goods locally and nationally “free of charge” to those who are in need. Apostle Bridget C. Outlaw has over 25 years of experience in Business Organizational Development, Grant Writing, Award Winning Business Proposals, Government Contracts and Bids, and in Not for Profit Leadership.
Additionally, I plan to partner with Dr. Patricia Bailey and her Master’s Touch Ministries Global- International Missions organization in regard to serving orphans and families in need of services goods and support in other countries. Her ministry has left an impact in 145 countries over the past 40 years. Dr. Patricia has served as a consultant to the United Nations (UN) Heads of States, Diplomats, and Governmental Dignitaries.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I hope to establish agencies, schools and businesses that teach and help people to propagate and maintain wealth, health, spiritual illumination and enduring loving relationships for their lifetime and generations to come.
