I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, a doctor by profession, running my own business at Polyclinic ATS & Surgery Johor Bahru and also a graduate in Indian classical dance

I was born in Johor the jewel state of Malaysia and received my education at the Sultan Ibrahim Girls School from primary to secondary and thereafter continued my Pre-Med and medical degree in Crimea State Medical University

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women Empowerment means to you?

I believe women empowerment simply means upholding the value and virtue of women in general and also having to celebrate feminism in every aspect of life that has to offer.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.

In 2009 I was selected to represent my university for the Miss University pageant and went on to emerge as the winner amongst other nationalities from Uganda, Ukraine, India, Russia and Poland.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

Self empowerment. Doing my very first pageant was an inspiration for myself to see how I was able to endure the aspect of being confident.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

After many years, as I would say, ‘hibernating’, I wanted to pick myself up and go forth to prove myself that I still do have it in me, my poise, my confidence, my endurance and my strength especially after hitting the weighing scale of 73 kilograms during pregnancy.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Our pageant systems mainly aims for its best standards to par take. It serves as a huge platform for all women with different opinions and ideas from all walks of life. It also gives us a huge opportunity to bring forth our representing country to another level of recognition.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?

The walk, the talk and the confidence. The competition is also all about being true to oneself, thus we are also being judged by who we really are.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

It has truly been a pleasant ride. From interviews to catwalk sessions, dance choreography classes, forums, photo shooting, make up and hair do and also having to interact with all the other beautiful women, it surely was a one of a kind experience.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

Being in this platform has helped me serve better for the community around me as my profession allows me to interact with my patients. I have been actively engaged with free medical services even before the competition also volunteer for multiple medical camps throughout the country.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?

Since I have won I am truly looking forward for women empowerment forums in the future as I have not been active on appearances.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements?

The greatest would be of course my 2 children. Having to go through 9 months of pregnancy for each child, the strength mentally and physically is definitely a winner for me. Also, graduating medicine and being able to still have time for my passion, Indian classical dance is quite the achievement for me

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

My optimism. No one is a perfect human being but being able to stand out takes a lot of courage and positivity. What truly sets me apart is that I am able to bounce back even better in the world of criticism and to be a better person.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

I was absolutely delighted and had my focus to win this competition straight away.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

A beauty queen is not a person that we see on the canvas but rather the inner soul that serves a purpose and is able to carry herself through thick and thin. That what makes her beautiful.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

It has molded me into a more confident and assuring person. There is always something new we learn everyday.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?

My self esteem has definitely boosted as soon as I joined the pageant. I did every measure to ensure my fitness level and to achieve my desired body


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

I feel honoured and also wish to continue aspiring others with low self esteem by helping them overcome their fear of lack of confidence

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

I believe it is my smile and being genuine.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?

Preparations straight from the beginning by first, having a tight schedule to fit in catwalk training, having to visit multiple boutiques for my costumes and having to learn make up, it has all been worthwhile

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Always smile while you do the walk even during practice. That will help a lot during the actual day and you won’t need to worry as it will be natural.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

Something that u are absolutely comfortable in and always do a dress rehearsal at home to be sure. Having to be on stage for a few hours definitely will be pleasurable if you had the perfect dress

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?

Being true to yourself. Speak from your heart

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

The only mistake I did was not eat properly. You will be needing all the energy in the world while you’re on that stage. Eat clean, eat healthy.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

I believe some mistakes are not following instructions given by the organiser. Every single detail or instruction must be adhered well as it may cost u penalty points.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?

No

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?

As of this year my plans are to do more volunteering in medical camps throughout the country and hopefully internationally

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

I would like to be remembered of a good doctor not a great doctor. A doctor who helped her community and a medical company that people can trust.
