The secret of getting ahead is getting started” It all started with a simple phone call from a friend, who believed in me. I took the first step of faith and the journey began, and the rest just followed. I competed in Miss Bharat California organized by My Dream TV USA in October 2021 and won the crowns for

Mrs. California Elite

Mrs. worldwide popular

Mr. and Mrs. California

Talent round winner in both categories

Dashing Diva Title

Little did I know that this was just a beginning, I was then called to complete for nationals in Sterling Virginia in Dec 2021. Participating in nationals was one of the most amazing experiences. It was a three-day-long event that included –city tours, celebrity meet and greet, music video shoot, behind the scenes shoot, talent round, and the real event- which had three rounds along with Q&A. All the ladies were unique, beautiful, and highly talented, and yes it was daunting at times. What kept me going was my belief that I will come out of this with a new improved version of myself. The year 2021 was a year with lots of blessings - I was crowned Mrs. Bharat USA Elite 202. It was one of the best moments of my life!

Crowned and Titleholder of:

Mrs. Bharat USA Elite

Title of Bold and Beautiful

Mr. and Mrs. Bharat USA

Talent round winner of Mr. and Mrs. Bharat USA

I would like to give credit for this crown and victory to my family and friends who never stopped believing in me and always offered their endless support. I will continue to inspire and instill confidence in everyone I meet because there is no age barrier for fulfilling your dreams.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

Michelle Obama said - There's power in allowing yourself to be known and heard, in owning your unique story, in using your authentic voice.

There are two types of motivation - internal and external. When I decided to sign up for a pageant, of course, I wanted to win the title and savor the achievement. The real reason - the internal factor was my motivation to voice my opinion and be out there and express myself.

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

Mrs. Bharat USA is one of the biggest platforms in the USA, and there are many categories. I had heard about the contest and the high quality of the competition. I wanted to challenge myself and get out of my boundaries. And then the idea of just meeting all the amazing women and learning from them was quite appealing.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

The main idea of this pageant system is to empower each contestant and groom them to bring out the best of her. The Pageant system tries to spread the message of positivity and give a platform to all women to voice their opinion.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

The main thing to remember is that the judging starts the day you sign up. Your participation, introduction, positivity, involvement, and of course then there are many rounds such as talent, Swimsuit, formal, ethnic, and then there is Social media participation. And, the most important is the interview round. The choice of dresses for each round and how one demonstrates their personality, confidence, and bonding with others on and off stage play a vital role in the competition.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

From the day I signed up to the day of the competition, my experience was quite fruitful, full of learning and meeting fellow contestants. We had a grooming sessions, learning the pageant walk practice sessions with one of the best choreographers in the world, makeup sessions with leading makeup artists. The experience was quite wonderful. I knew that but to interact and work with so many beautiful and talented ladies there was so fulfilling. I also cherish the bond that I developed with the fellow sisters in the contest.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

I promote women's empowerment. My platform is volunteering, I support and participate in various organizations to help women gain confidence. One such example is WIT where I help other women find the right career path. In my free time, I also help organize fashion shows and choreograph dance for non-profit organizations. Also, I truly like to help small businesses owned by women.

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

This pageant had opened so many new avenues for me. I have interviewed for national television and radio channels in India. I’m appointed as a jury and grooming artist for various pageants happening in India and USA. People are inviting me for interviews at the various platform. I have shot a music album, and there are many more great things coming my way.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

I consider myself a poised professional with a deep passion for fashion and giving back to the community. I truly believe in empowering women in all spheres of life, instilling confidence in them, and giving them fearless wings to fly.

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

I believe every contestant is uniquely beautiful and talented and these competitions are not about winning or losing but promoting a healthy learning curve and bringing out the best in each other. What really helped me is my sheer hard work and determination to do something for myself and inspire thousands of others to get out of their comfort zone.

Confidence

Positivity

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

Ahh, That was one of the best moments to be cherished and remembered for sure. I knew the competition was going to be tough, and all the beautiful ladies were uniquely talented. It was gratifying to finally see my dedication and commitment bearing fruits. And, I want to thank each and everyone for believing in me and showering their love and blessings.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

To me, the true meaning of beauty queen is to be yourself, feel confident for all you are, shine bright while embracing your flaws. I see Beauty Queen as a platform for me to extend my horizons and ability to help other women in need.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did compete in pageants helped your life?

I think we all have a diva inside us, and this pageant has helped me discover that within me.

It reinstated the fact that we should always believe in ourselves and that age is no barrier to achieving our dreams. I have come out ever more confident.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants help your self-esteem and body image?

Initially, like others, I used to think that pageant is all about external beauty. It's much more than that, it's about your personality, your belief, and your poise. Taking part in the contest has given my confidence such a huge boost to my self-esteem. Pageants really help break the barrier, it's about who you are as an individual and how authentically you carry your personality.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

I feel humbled and honored to be an inspiration. With more power comes greater responsibility. I want to continue to stay positive, focused and keep inspiring many more with my journey.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your onstage strategy to win the judges over?

Well, there is a lot going on the day of the event such as makeup, hair do’s, change of outfits. But among the chaos what really mattered to me was the focus to demonstrate my personality, when spotlights hit, the ownership of the stage, smiling as you mean it, eye contact, and allowing my personality to speak to the judges.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

Once I registered for the pageant, I was sincere in my preparations. I thought of my looks, hairdo, dresses, prepared my answers, ran scenarios in my mind. I spent hours every day preparing myself mentally and emotionally till the run-up to the contest.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Pageant walk is definitely one of the most important parts of the contest. I have done a lot of fashion shows in the USA, so I was quite confident for this section. I used my favorite heels that I was most comfortable walking. To be more comfortable, and which worked best for me, was that I would walk every day for 5-10 mins in my heels. I selected the outfits and practiced the walks, especially the turns.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress?

The best dress is the one that makes you smile, feel comfortable in your skin and bring out your personality.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interviews?

The best answers are when we speak from the heart and it shows our authenticity and humility.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

There is always something to learn from the experiences. Looking back, I can see that I could have practiced more on quickly changing the attires. There is little time in between, it's chaotic and you are on your own. At times, I felt a bit pushed, but ultimately it all turned out fine.

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

I think all the girls were extremely beautiful and talented. It is hard to point out mistakes, the only thing I can say is that preparing for the holistic picture in the contest rather than being more focused on one section or round might have helped.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

Yes, I have walked ramp for both national and international designers. I have done music videos and yes acting is something I want to do, maybe this year! I have got a couple of offers for acting, and I am considering one of them seriously.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?

I want to reach out to as many individuals as possible, and inspire them to keep dreaming and start to keep marching towards what they believe in.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

Walt Disney said - All our dreams can come true – if we have the courage to pursue them.

I want each person to feel comfortable in their skin, come out of their comfort zone and voice their opinion and achieve their goals as its never too late to achieve your dreams.
