World Class Beauty Queens Magazine would like to welcome amazing Queen Carrie Yarnall Mrs. North America Globe 2019.

Full name: Carrie Yarnall Title/Year: Mrs. North America Globe 2019 Pageant System: Mrs. Globe Age: 33 Zodiac sign: Taurus Hobbies: Reading, baking, staying fit, and collecting shoes and homeless animals! Platform: Promoting animal adoption through the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County; Spokeswoman for the Women In Need Foundation Years competed: 15 Countries visited: 4 Likes: Junk food, puppies, kittens, anything that sparkles! Dislikes: Spiders, snakes, and deep, dark waters. Status: Happily married! World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself. I am a licensed veterinary technician and native of West Virginia. I am happily married to my handsome husband, James, and together we have our precious daughter, Brinley. Our family also consists of three dogs (one who is a recent cancer survivor and amputee) and nine cats! We are a family that is filled with love for each other, our rescued animals, and Disney! World Class Beauty Queens: What does women empowerment means to you? To me, women empowerment is about encouraging women to embrace the inner goddess that we all possess! It is learning to love ourselves for the good, the bad, and the ugly and using that self-love to propel us forward into reaching for the dreams and goals that we all yearn to achieve. Women empowerment is the key to teaching all women that they are enough! World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history. As a pageant veteran, I have competed in many local, state, national, and even international pageants. My previous state titles include Delaware’s Homecoming Queen, Mrs. Delaware United States 2010, Miss Delaware Galaxy 2012, Mrs. West Virginia United States 2018, and Mrs. West Virginia Globe 2019. I was a top 5 finalist in the Miss Galaxy international pageant, a top 15 finalist in the Mrs. United States national pageant, first-runner-up to Mrs. USofA Globe 2019, and was most recently a top 15 finalist at the prestigious Mrs. Globe international pageant in China. World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant? My introduction into the crazy world of pageantry occurred by accident. After winning the Homecoming Queen title for my high school, I was automatically granted the opportunity to compete in my very first pageant, a national organization called America’s Homecoming Queen. Though clueless and completely out of my element, I competed for the state title and won! It was at that moment that I was bitten by the pageant bug, and the rest is history! World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I was first introduced to the Mrs. Globe organization by a dear friend who had competed and won the previous year. Following her advice, I began researching the organization, its philosophy, and its mission. I learned that the Mrs. Globe organization is partnered with a non-profit called the Women In Need Foundation, whose focus is rehabilitation for women recovering from abuse and trauma. As a childhood victim of sexual assault, I knew that this organization was not only the key to touching the lives of other women but would also allow me the opportunity to work through my own personal demons to reach a place of peace and inner happiness. World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? Along with aiding abuse victims through the Women In Need Foundation, the Mrs. Globe organization promotes the message of self-love. The organization encourages women of all shapes, sizes, and ages to embrace their beauty and power. Along with the Mrs. Globe division, they also offer the Mrs. Classique Globe division, as well as the Mrs. Curve´ Globe division. World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? The Mrs. Globe organization judges in three categories – swimsuit, evening gown, and personality profile (a one-minute prepared speech about yourself). World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. To me, the Mrs. Globe pageant was unlike any competition I had ever competed in. From the actual phases of competition to the director and her staff, I felt that I had finally found an organization that I belonged to. This was also the first pageant that truly allowed me to experience my deepest personal growth while simultaneously competing for national and international titles. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. As a licensed veterinary technician, I have always been drawn to the organizations who focus on the welfare of this planet’s most precious creatures. Pairing with the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County to promote animal adoption and rescue was a no-brainer for me, thus creating a very effortless and natural partnership. World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title? As Mrs. North America Globe 2019, I have had the deep privilege and honor of working with so many incredible groups and organizations since June. I have assisted with adoption and fundraising events for the AWSJC. I have assisted a non-profit called Paws of Honor, a national organization that provides free medical care to retired police, military, and law enforcement k-9s. I have been asked to judge several local pageants and have been invited to many of my region’s festivals and fairs. I have participated in fundraising events for the Women In Need Foundation, and I was most recently invited to visit several of the elementary schools in my area. World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? With the Mrs. Globe organization, I have been absolutely humbled and honored to win some of their most prestigious awards. In June, I was awarded “Contestant of the Year,” and during the Mrs. Globe international pageant in China, I was awarded “Spirit of WIN Award” for my efforts in raising $30,000 for the Women In Need Foundation. My husband was surprised to win “Husband of the Year,” and we were so blessed to win “Couple of the Year.” I finished my time in China by placing in the top 15! World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? The Mrs. Globe organization is one of the most well-known pageants for married women in the world, so it’s no surprise that it consists of the most beautiful women on our planet. My authenticity, vulnerability, and charismatic (often goofy) personality have allowed me to stand out among so many stunning and accomplished women. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. When I first heard my name announced as Mrs. North America Globe 2019, I could immediately feel my head begin to spin. It was months of preparation that had finally reached the most incredible and satisfying pinnacle. I was completely overcome with joy, intense pride, and a bit of relief to know that my goal had been accomplished! World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? To me, being a “beauty queen” is never about the physical beauty. It’s about having the ability to not only transform the lives of others, but your own life as well. It is having the courage to set goals for yourself and crush them. It is recognizing your own personal demons, overcoming them, and encouraging others to do the same. It is having the desire and motivation to change the world, with or without a crown. World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life? I’m still learning and growing every day and with every competition, but I can honestly attribute my most powerful amount of growth to the Mrs. Globe organization. Pageants, in general, have transformed my confidence, but the Mrs. Globe organization has given me the tools needed to truly embrace the importance of self-love. Through pageants and Mrs. Globe, I have learned that I am enough. World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self-esteem and body image? Pageants have always been a wonderful source of motivation to stay healthy and physically fit. By taking care of my physical body and allowing the Mrs. Globe organization to help me transform my inner body, I have learned to love and accept all of my perfections and imperfections. World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? It is sometimes surreal to think that I am considered an inspiration to others, but when I consider the lives I’ve been blessed to touch, it feels so wonderful to know I’ve been fulfilling my life’s purpose. World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on-stage strategy to win the judges over? While on stage, I just remember to smile, sparkle, and shine! World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition? Before winning Mrs. North America Globe, I spent months working out, practicing my walk and stage presence, working with one of the country’s top pageant coaches, Donna Brown, preparing my wardrobe for pageant week, and perfecting my one-minute personality profile speech. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? I have worked with several coaches in the past who helped to teach me better poise and posture, but for me, practice was always key! Months before a competition, you will usually find me strutting around my house in my competition heels. This technique has always helped me break in my heels quicker and by pageant day, allows walking to feel effortless. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? Try many different styles and colors, so that you can develop a better sense of what will accentuate your look. Pick the gown that makes you feel like the absolute queen and goddess that you are! World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview? Like the pageant walk, the key to a successful interview comes from practice. The point of practicing is not to rehearse answers. Practicing allows you to form opinions about topics. It teaches you to take those thoughts and feelings and develop them into a coherent answer that will come across naturally to the judges. World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? I will never forget the very first time I competed in a pageant. Again, I was clueless and out of my element. For some reason, I thought it would be a great idea to wear a thick, rhinestone choker during the evening gown competition. Though I did win that state title, I still cringe when I look at the photos from that pageant. That is one fashion faux pas I wish I could take back! World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? I think the number one mistake made by a lot of contestants is when they pretend to be someone they aren’t. They try too hard to show the judges what they think the judges want to see, rather than focusing on showcasing their own beauty and personality. World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience? No World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen? I plan to finish my year as Mrs. North America Globe working with my favorite non-profits, traveling, attending appearances, and changing the world one paw print at a time! World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? When I think of my legacy, I immediately think of my daughter, Brinley, and how I will want her to remember me. I want to be known not only for my love of animals and my ambitions to save them, but for the love and compassion I also have for those around me.
