I am an African Native / American was born April 5 th , 2011 in Houston, Texas. Raised and lives with my great grandmother, (Alice V. Frazier). I have one sister and one brother and I am
the oldest of the three. I speak English and very little Spanish. My favorite color is purple. I love
traveling, having fun and spending time with my family especially with my favorite Aunt CoCo (Loronda S. Moses).
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your education.Â
I am in Junior High 6 th grade in Texas. I am an honors student and in all honor classes. My favorite is reading and math. My plans as of right now is that I plan on attending Willow Ridge High School after completing Junior High School. Have not decided yet as of where I will be attending college.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women Empowerment means to you?
Supporting each other and lifting each other up. Accepting the viewpoints of others, being open and honest, being an example, boosting their self-esteem. This is an addition to being a leader and mentor to them. Most of all show, love.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.
It has been great. I have had the pleasure of shining bright like a diamond on every runway and enjoyed it so much. I’ll traveled to Chicago, ILL., Las Vegas, NV., Pearland, TX., and here in Houston, TX.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Well, I was watching pageant shows on T.V. and I saw a vision of me as beautifully walking on a runway. And I wanted the opportunity to see what it feels likes looking beautiful. And now that I have, I love it. Also, I would hope it will inspire other youths as it did me.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I choose to compete and excepted the title because I wanted to see what it felt like to walk on a runway and to look beautiful and grow more confident in myself.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
America Nation Multicultural World Foundation is a non-profit designed to underprivileged people globally and to empower kid worldwide to be leaders. Promoting diversity, culture, and ending discrimination / bullying, education, to inspire kids to become leaders, created equality and integrity toward global kids, men and women.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes your director different from others?
I can truly say and I feel I can say this with confidence, that Dr. Krystal Okeke’ Chanchangi is a God-fearing lady, she loves people, never show discrimination, great leader, great mentor, she’s patience and always willing to help in any way as possible.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?
As America Nation Queen I am judged on Evening gown, Culture presentation, Community services, Fitness and People Choice.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
It felt like a dream come true. It was great, build more self-confidence in myself, leadership, and now being Miss Universe America Nation 2023 and that lets me know that nothing is impossible.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Who would you recommend your system to?
To all the young girls, young boys, ladies and men who want to become somebody, to become leaders and excel in this world.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you
volunteer for.
My platform is Building self-confidence for youth Empowerment to inspire other kids to achieve success, self-esteem and serve humanity. I do volunteer for food pantry’s, donate food and clothing for the underprivileged families, visit nursing to see the sick, help kids with their homework and doing community services for the children in my complex and community.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?
I have appeared in Chicago, ILL, Pearland, TX., Las Vegas, NV., and in Houston, TX.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements?
Yes, I have achieved what I thought I wouldn’t be able to do and something I have always wanted to do is to become a model, an actor and build up my self-confidence and my self esteem. And becoming Miss Texas America Nation 2022 a dream come true. But now my biggest achievement was becoming Miss Universe America Nation 2023, that is my major achievement.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I am beautiful, I have self-control and sure of myself, I have a beautiful and positive personality and a beautiful smile. So why wouldn’t I stand out. Lol.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
When I was call up and crowned Miss Universe America Nation 2023 and I was so happy, heart pounding fast, delighted and so excited with tears. I have never felt so special. That is a moment I will never ever forget.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It means leadership, being a role model to other youth and build up their self- esteem. Being Miss Universe America Nation 2023 mean the world to me. And I want to make everyone so proud of me especially my great grandmother and my favorite aunt Coco because they work so hard with me and always there for me.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
It helped me to give myself more and more confidence and love more to be with people and communicate with other youths my age and older. Gave me more experience to grow more in this pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did pageants helped your self-esteem and body image?
It helped me to develop a greater sense of confidence. It also made me more aware to watch what I eat and to maintain a good and slim body figure and weight.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It feels great and makes me so very happy knowing that I am and can be an inspiration to others. Because I take this pageant very serious and with pride.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on-stage strategy to win the judges over?
My culture attire / evening gown, my walk / pose, my beautiful smile and my self-confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?
Being coached by my aunt Lorinda on my poses and walking, zoom meeting by Dr. Krystal Okeke giving me information on pageant modeling as well, getting the proper attires that is needed for each show.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Keep your head and shoulders up while walking, one foot in front of the other, be playful while you walk and smiling, hands on waist sometimes while walking and posing, and have fun and it will show confidence and don’t rush or walk too fast.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
Getting the bright colors, and colors that agree with your complexion and your personality. Clothes that will fit your body. Clothes that will be eye catching to the judges so that they would remember me, Miss Universe.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?
Keeping my answers short, sweet and simple, but well detailed. Be yourself, slow down and listen to the questions closely so you can get a good understanding of what is being asked. And don’t get excited stay calm.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
Is when I first got started, my first time on the runway is not having the self-confidence that I have now and the experience that I have now. But now I have all of that and even more ready than ever.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Comparing themselves to others, not focusing, walking too fast, not smiling, not walking with confidence as if they are afraid and not with the proper poses. But the bottom line is that I try to stay focus on myself so that I wouldn’t make any mistakes.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?
Modeling experience, Chicago, ILL., Pearland, TX., Las Vegas, NV., Houston, TX. And Bastrop. LA. My acting experience, Pearland, TX. and Houston, TX.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022/23 as a Queen?
To be more about my platform which is building self-confidence in youth Empowerment and reaching out more to my age group and older. I plan to do more working in my community and surrounding areas, reaching out to more underprivileged families, continue volunteering with food pantry’s and visiting nursing homes.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
Giving a little bit of myself and that is knowing that I had self-control, confidence, love that I have for people, knowing me with a beautiful smile and know that I took this pageant very serious. I am raised by my great grandmother and she has always shown me how to love, be caring, have confidence in anything that I do. I must do it well and put all I have into it, that’s any and everything. And never let anyone tell me what I cannot do, and if I fall trying get up and try again and to never give up.
