Full name: Maira Ximena Guzmán Title / Year: Miss Argentina Tourism Worldwide 2019/20 Miss Independence San Juan 2019/20 Type of contest: beauties contest where the culture and tourism of the country prevails, where the importance of the discussion of one's own culture as ambassadors carrying that culture and intelligence and charisma of miss before the world is given. Years of competition: at 16 years old it was my first contest and from there I followed my career as a model, although as a young girl I started at 5 years of age. My favorite food is salmon with vegetables, white chocolate, a good white wine and the company of my beloved ones. I love listening to music, watching movies and I enjoy reading. World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself

Talking about me is a bit selfish because I am always aware of others and not of me, always being for the other is something I love doing, being helpful and supportive is a great quality in me. I am a spontaneous girl who likes to enjoy and live the moment, I was always very anxious and life taught me to be patient and hope that everything good comes. I am a very happy mom of a princess of 5 years, where I live motherhood with a lot of love and freedom where she included my daughter in my world whenever I can and she enjoys the most of my work and the time we spend together. Since I was a child I learned to love fashion thanks to my mother, who involved me in this world with 5 years and since then I wanted to be a model. I work as a model and I love being on a pasarella, no matter what the super dis- I am an event organizer and assistant in hotel and tourism management. I consider myself an empowered woman where the world today is changing and allows us to be who we want to be, showing the best of each one, leaving aside the physical stereotypes and opening the way to the struggling, hard-working and family woman, who can fulfill her dreams without stop being everything else! I think that's me. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your contest history My history of contests goes from my great-grandmothers and aunts who were queens and miss of country, to my mother who was Miss Argentina in 1982 and Queen of the Sun and carnival in my province, the reigns come from family and it was always a yearning to be a Queen also, my first contest was with 16 years for a queen contest of the mining where I left as a princess. I dedicated myself to studying and to modeling until I decided to give myself the opportunity to present myself to represent my province and country again, where I happily achieved the title I longed for as Miss Reina Independencia San Juan and Miss Argentina Tourism Worldwide. World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to participate in your first contest? I was always inspired to achieve my dream, that we should not stop dreaming and achieve our goals. World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I chose to compete now because it was a dream that I wanted to fulfill, also because it is a different way of coming to the world as a spokesperson of my country to show my culture my landscapes and how beautiful my country represents for me.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those who are not familiar with your contest system, please tell us what it is about? It is a contest where the culture, knowledge and tourism of the country you represent is valued. Where each representative must know and love his flag his homeland and his culture to be able to show it to the world with pride, my Argentine roots to the world.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged during the competition? Not only the physical beauty is evaluated, but your composure, your dialogue and way of expressing yourself also if you speak other languages is super important, your pasarella is evaluated, your charisma and the solidary and companion action you have for the rest. Being a queen is not just a pretty face, but a sum of factors that make a worthy representative of that band and crown, for others. World Class Beauty Queens: How was your experience during the competition? It has always been good and enriching, I stay with the best and with the rest it is to learn, there are always new things to learn and grow, I hope that the next instance will be as magnificent as these.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause have you been volunteering for? I have been a volunteer for many causes without needing to wear a band, it is something that my family always taught to be supportive, it is the best prize that life can give you. We help doing solidatios events with different organizations and foundations, with milk and food not pedestrians for children and adults, footwear and toys are donated to cheer up those who need us the most.

World Class Beauty Queens: What presences have you made with your title? I had the honor and the awesome possibility of being able to make appearances at several national parties in my country promoting national tourism and supporting each event as a miss to continue growing and defending our culture. World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? I think some of my achievements is to be myself, my sympathy and my personality.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your strategy on the stage to win the judges? My strategy is to be myself. Believe in me and that the judges can see the potential in me and everything I can give beyond the ticket.

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those beautiful girls? Question difficult because there are many beautiful girls, but as I said before I think it's the same and show personality beyond the beauty of each one, makes you stand out in any situation of life

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you feel when you heard your name as the winner? The truth that was unexpected, I did not think it was to achieve such a title and it took me several days to fall that I had won, I was filled with emotion and happiness, even today I feel the same.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean for you to be a beauty queen? It is a dream and a goal fulfilled. It is also a unique responsibility because you happen to be an example of many girls who dream of achieving the same, there is a responsibility to convey a message and more when we talk about beauty, my idea is to show the real woman and not perfect that I am, educated and intelligent and that values all the qualities of women beyond physical, since being a queen is a complement of everything in my opinion.

World Class Beauty Queens: How have competencies in your life helped you? They have helped me to improve myself, to grow in me and motivate me for daily life. Where there are always people who criticize and judge everything you do even if they do not know you, as well as competition in all areas of life, preparing and training helps you to emerge victorious to meet the challenges of everyday life.

World Class Beauty Queens: How it feels to be an inspiration for other girls in the world? As I said before, it is a great responsibility and at the same time an honor and pride! I hope to always give my best and show me just as I am as I have been doing, with my defects and virtues, I want to leave the message of real and beautiful and not perfect woman, that all women of the world are beautiful and real that all can meet their dreams without stopping being mothers, without stopping to work and study, that women are powerful and we can make our world a better one. I hope to convey that being a queen is being a person who has a band and a crown, it is being a person who feels proud of what he achieved in his life and that everything with effort and perseverance is achieved.

World Class Beauty Queens: What have you learned practicing your walk in the contest? There are always new things to learn, each event has its activities and preferences, in this case, practice even more helps me to force confidence and security to feel comfortable and show me safe in the contest.

World Class Beauty Queens: What have you learned when choosing your dress for the competition? Choosing a dress depends a lot on the occasion and the impression you want to give, thinking that the first impression is the most important and our image in the eyes of others is also very important, knowing how to choose the look and dress suitable for the competition and for Any occasion is paramount, knowing your body and having your own style is essential to know what dress to wear.

World Class Beauty Queens: What have you learned about the interviews during the preparation? I've learned that you always have to be politically correct and educated to respond even if the questions are uncomfortable or critical, you always have to know how to respond with subtlety and a smile, letting us know our opinion and showing what we know without losing the charisma.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any experience in modeling or acting? Yes, modeling since I was a 5-year-old girl, thanks to that I learned how to model and not be ashamed about a competing, in addition to doing it naturally I do it with love. Acting only in theater but nothing big, but if it's something I want to do in the future, being an actress would be another achievement and a challenge that I would love to do.

World Class Beauty Queens: What plans do you have for 2018/2019 as Queen? I hope to make a good year of representation by doing solidarity actions and helping in what I like. Making trips and spreading the history and tourism culture of my country to where it is necessary. So to be able to reach the world in the best way possible, leaving my province and my country at the top.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave? I want to leave a legacy where women are valued for their social and solidarity work, where they show and value again the proper of my country, the roots and origins of each one, a legacy where I am reminded to show the wonders and landscapes of my country as well as my most human and real side, the world needs more compassion and solidarity and that is what I want to leave.

Tipo de concurso: certámen de bellezas donde se prevalora la cultura y turismo de para representante de su país donde se le da suma importancia a la discusión de la cultura propia como embajadoras portando esa cultura e inteligencia y carisma de miss ante el mundo. Edad: 26 años Signo Zodiacal: Piscis Hobbies: viajar por mi pais y el mundo. Pasar tiempo y prácticar deporte en la naturaleza. Nadar como buen pecesito que soy. Meditar para desconectar del mundo terrenal y relajar.

Años Competidos: a mis 16 años fue mi primer concurso y desde ahi segui mi carrera como modelo, aunque como medelo inicié a los 5 años de edad. Paises Visitados: ARGENTINA, Brazil, Paraguay y Uruguay. Gustos: disfruto de un buen asado , como costumbre argentina, adoro tomar "mate" en cualquier ocasión como argentina nunca falta. Mi comida favorita es el salmón con vegetales , el chocolate blanco, un buen vino blanco y la compañía de mis queres queridos. Adoro escuchar música, ver películas y disfruto leer. World Class Beauty Queens: Por favor hablanos acerca de ti

Hablar de mi es un poco egoísta ya que siempre estoy pendiente de los demás y no de mi, estar siempre para el otro es algo que amo hacer, ser servicial y solidaria es una gran cualidad en mí . Soy una chica espontánea que le gusta disfrutar y vivir el momento , siempre fui muy ansiosa y la vida me enseño a ser paciente y esperar que todo lo bueno llega. Soy una mamá muy feliz de una princesa de 5 años, donde vivo la maternidad con mucho amor y libertad donde incluyó a mi hija en mi mundo siempre que puedo y ella disfruta al máximo de mi trabajo y el tiempo que pasamos juntas. Desde pequeña aprendí amar la moda gracias a mi madre, quién me involucró en este mundo con apeñas 5 años y desde ahi quise ser modelo. Trabajo de modelo y amo estar sobre una pasarella sin importar nada lo super disftuto, soy organizadora de eventos y auxiliar en administración hotelera y turística. Me considero una mujer empoderada donde el mundo hoy esta cambiando y nos permite ser quienes queramos ser , mostrando lo mejor de cada una, dejando de lado los estereotipos físicos y abriendo camino a la mujer luchadora , trabajadora y familiar, que puede cumplir sus sueños sin dejar de ser todo lo demas! Eso creo que soy yo.

World Class Beauty Queens: Cuéntanos sobre tu historia de concursos Mi historia de concursos data desde mis bisabuelas y tias que fueron reinas y miss de país, hasta mi madre que fue Miss simpatia Argentina en 1982 y Reina del Sol y carnaval en mi provincia, los reinados vienen de familia y siempre fue un anhelo ser una reina también, mi primer concurso fue con 16 años para un certámen reina de la minera donde sali como princesa. Me dedique a estudiar y al modelaje hasta que decidi darme la oportunidad de presentarme para representar a mi provincia y país nuevamente , donde felizmente logre el título tan ansiado como señorita reina independencia san Juan y Miss Argentina turism worldwide.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que te inspirò a ti para participar en tu primer concurso? Siempre me inspiró el poder alcanzar mi sueño, de que no hay que dejar de soñar y lograr cumplir nuestras metas.

World Class Beauty Queens: Por qué elejiste competir por tu título actual? Eligi competir ahora porque era un sueño que queria cumplir, además porque es una manera diferente de llegar al mundo como vocera de mi pais para mostrar mi cultura mis paisajes y lo hermoso que mi país representa para mi. World Class Beauty Queens: A los que no están familiarizados con tu sistema de concurso, por favor díganos de qué se trata? Es un certámen donde se Valoriza la cultura, conocimiento y turismo del pais que representas. Donde cada reprentante debe conocer y amar su bandera su patria y su cultura para poder mostrarla al mundo con orgullo , mis raíces argentinas al mundo.

World Class Beauty Queens: ¿En qué estás siendo juzgado durante la competición? No solo la belleza física es evaluada, sino tu compostura, tu diálogo y forma de expresarte ademas si hablas otros idiomas es super importante, se evalúa tu pasarella, tu carisma y la acción solidaria y compañera que tengas para con el resto. Ser reina no es solo una cara bonita , sino una suma de factores que hacen ser a una digna representante de esa banda y corona, para los demás.

World Class Beauty Queens: Como fue tu experiencia durante la competencia? Siempre ha sido buena y enriquesedora , me quedo con lo mejor y con lo demas es para aprender, siempre hay cosas nuevas para aprender y crecer , espero que la instancia que viene sean tan magníficas como estas.

World Class Beauty Queens: Cuentanos acerca de tu plataforma o para que causa has sido voluntaria? Eh sido voluntaria para muchas causas sin necesidad de portar una banda, es algo que mi familia siempre enseño ser solidario es el mejor premio que la vida puede darte. Ayudamos haciendo eventos solidatios con distintas organizaciones y fundaciones, con leche y alimentos no pedecederos para chicos y grandes, se donan ropa calzado y juguetes para alegrar a los que mas nos necesitan.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que presencias has hecho con tu tìtulo? Eh tenido el honor y la hérmosa posibilidad de poder hacer presencias en varias fiestas nacionales de mi país impulsando el turismo nacional y apoyando a cada evento como miss para seguir creciendo y defendiendo nuestra cultura.

World Class Beauty Queens: Cuales son algunos de tus logros? Creo que algunos de mis logros es ser yo misma , mi simpatía y mi personalidad.

World Class Beauty Queens: Cual es tu estrategia en el escenario para ganarte a los jueces? Mi estratégia esta en ser yo misma. Creer en mi y que los jueces puedan ver el potencial que hay en mi y todo lo que puedo dar más alla de la pasarella .

World Class Beauty Queens: Que te hace destacarte de todas esas hermosas chicas? Pregunta difícil porque hay muchas chicas hermosas , pero como dije antes creo q ser una misma y mostras personalidad mas alla de la belleza de cada una , hace que destaques ante cualquier situación de la vida

World Class Beauty Queens: Como te sentiste al escuchar tu nombre como ganador? La verdad que fue inesperado, no creia que fuera lograr tal título y me tomo varios dias caer que habia ganado , me lleno de emoción y felicidad , incluso hasta hoy siento lo mismo.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que significa para ti ser una reina de Belleza? Es un sueño y meta cumplido. Además es una responsabilidad única porque pasas hacer ejemplo de muchas chicas que sueñan con lograr lo mismo, hay q ser responsable al transmitir un mensaje y mas cuando hablamos de belleza, mi idea es mostrar a la mujer real y no perfecta que soy , culta e inteligente y que se valore todas las cualidades de las mujeres más alla de las físicas, ya que ser reina es un complemento de todo en mi parecer.

World Class Beauty Queens: Como te han ayudado las competencias en tu vida? Me han ayudado a superarme a mi misma, a crecer en mí y motivarme para la vida diaria. Donde siempre hay gente que te crítica y juzga todo lo que hagas aunque no te conocan , como asi también la competencia en todo ámbito de la vida, prepararse y capacitarse te ayuda a salir victorioso para lograr los retos de la vida cotidiana.

World Class Beauty Queens: Como se siente ser una inspiracion para otras chicas en el mundo?

Como dije antes es una gran responsabilidad y a la vez un honor y orgullo! Espero poder dar lo mejor de mi siempre y mostrame tal cual soy como vengo haciendo, con mis defectos y virtudes, quiero dejar el mensaje de mujer real y hermosa y no perfecta, que todas las mujeres del mundo son hermosas y reales que todas pueden cumplir sus sueños sin dejar de ser madres, sin dejar de trabajar y estudiar, que las mujeres somos poderosas y podemos hacer de nuestro mundo , uno mejor. Espero poder transmitir que ser reina es ser una persona que lleva una banda y corona , es ser una persona que se siente orgullosa de lo que logró en su vida y que todo con esfuerzo y perseverancia se logra.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que has aprendido practicando tu caminata en el concurso? Siempre hay cosas nuevas por aprender, cada certámen tiene sus actividades y prefeencias, en este caso, practicar aun más me ayuda a forzar la confianza y seguridad para sentirme comoda y mostrarme segura en el concurso.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que has aprendido al elegir tu vestido para la competencia? Elegir un vestido depende mucho de la ocasión y la impresión que queres dar, pensando que la primera impresión es la mas importante y nuestra imágen a los ojos de los demás es muy importante también, saber elegir el look y vestido adecuado para la competencia y para cualquier ocasión es lo primordial, conocer tu cuerpo y tener un estilo propio es fundamental para saber que vestido lucir.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que han aprendido acerca de las entrevistas durante la preparacion? Eh aprendido que siempre hay que ser políticamente correcta y educada al responder aunque las preguntas seas incómodas o criticas, siempre hay que saber responder con sutileza y una sonrisa, dando a conocer nuestra opinión y mostrando cuanto sabemos sin perder el carisma.

World Class Beauty Queens: Alguna experiencia en modelaje o actuación? Si, el modelaje desde que era una niña de 5 años , gracias a eso aprendir a camimar y no tener vergüenza sobre una pasarella, además de hacerlo con naturalidad lo hago con amor. La actuación solo en teatro pero nada grande, pero si es algo que quiero realizar en el futuro, ser actriz seria un logro más y un desafío que me encantaria realizar.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que planes tienes para el 2018/2019 como Reina? Espero poder realizar un buen año de representación realizando acciones solidarias y ayudando en lo que me gusta. Realizando viajes y difundiendo la cultura historia y turismo de mi país a donde sea necesario. Asi poder llegar al mundo de la mejor manera posible dejando a mi provincia y mi país en lo mas alto.

World Class Beauty Queens: Que tipo de legado quieres dejar? Quiero dejar un legado donde se valore a la mujer por su accionar laboral social y solidario, donde se muestre y se valore nuevamente lo propio de mi país, las raices y origenes de cada uno, un legado donde se me recuerde por mostrar las maravillas y paisajes de mi pais como así tambien mi lado mas humano y real, el mundo necesita más compasión y solidaridad y eso es lo que quiero dejar .
