World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I am a Cameroonian American woman who has been diagnosed with autism since the age of 2, I was bullied growing up and I overcame it. I have a special talent which is singing Opera and I have been taking voice lessons for 2 years. I love children, and I hope to be a preschool teacher.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
To me Women's Empowerment is women of all kinds ( all races, disable or not) Coming together, encouraging one another to make a big difference in this world, Its about women working together instead of competing with each other.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I have always wanted to do pageantry for 2 years before joined the Miss & Mrs. America Nation it is my first pageant I have competed in.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
What inspired me to do pageants was when I ran into Krystal Okeke who is known to be a world class beauty queen she invited me to do a pageant she was judging before the Miss & Mrs. America Nation was created after years of being bullied, depressed and seeing myself as a failure I knew and decided ere needed to be an opposite from e negativity in my life.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I choose to compete for my current title because not only does it fit me well I wanted to represent where my parents came from
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
The Miss & Mrs. America Nation pageant is a diversity of cultures, we have girls and women from age 12 - 70. It is not just a pageant it helps you get your name out there and gives you opportunities to make appearance's and give back to the society.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
In the competition you will be judge Not just on walk, look you will be judged based on what you have done so far in your reign as a beauty queen and ambassador for this pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
My experience in the competition was one I will never forget, the audience clapped for me after my walk and speech. During my walk I know that they were loving the song that I choose. Not to mentions I got some complements after the pageant when I was not expecting.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. My platform of empowering everyone of disabilities is not just an empowerment, it's also an Awareness of invisible disabilities because you can never look at someone and tell whether they have a disability or not. Whenever someone hears that someone is disabled they automatically assume that person is in a wheelchair, in oxygen tank or other. Everyone of all kinds of disabilities need love and acceptance too.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
I appeared at the valentines day dance at the Flossmoor public library, the 26th Annual AACA Membership Awards Gala, progressive minds on WGHC 98.3 FM and GSU Multicultural fashion show.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
Some of my achievements are that I was athletes most improved freshmen year of high school and I am the winner of the school spirit award of Homewood Flossmoor High School 2015.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
My strategy is to show them that I am a hard worker and that I am very dedicated not just as a beauty queen but in everything that I do.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
What makes me stand out from the rest of the women is my personality and uniqueness that I bring at life. My drive and my heart.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
When my name was called out I was beyond grateful and shocked. It was like im getting the credit I deserve for being very strong and a hard worker.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
To me being a beauty queen is more than just a title, wearing a crown and sash, and looking pretty it is a responsibility to use that to make a big difference in this world by being a woman of good character a great role model to and for everyone. It is Mainly about what you have to offer to the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Competing in this pageant helped me to be extra confident, and forget about all the bad things that went wrong in my life. It was the positivity I was always looking for and needed.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image? Pageants helped me to realize that I am more than good enough no matter what happens in your life or what that certain person thought of or called you and that I am here for a reason.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? Being an inspiration to girls out there is the best feeling in the world because being a role model to everyone is the main reason why I wanted to join pageantry. Using your voice to good in the community makes me feel good because my life is more rewarding when I am helping and empowering others to feel good about themselves and get through a bad day.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
My tips on walking and posing would be to count your steps decide when to pose and just have fun with it.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
The kind of dress I would choose is one that not only looks good but is also very comfortable and won't effect your walk.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
If I was going to go for an interview I would smile, be polite and dress nice.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I prepare for my pageants by always making time to practice my walk, interview questions, onstage questions, picking the right dress and watching other pageants.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
The mistake I made was when I pause in the middle of my speech because I was a little nervous and reason why was because I didn't bring it with me. Next time I will keep track of all my stuff.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
They don't show up to rehearsal
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
Yes I do have modeling experiences I had 3 photo shoots and I have no acting experiences.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?
My plans in 2019 as a pageant queen is to be more well known achieve all my goals so I can make a big difference in this world.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I want to leave out a legacy that is very unique, great, amazing about people with all kinds of disabilities a positive one that everyone will not forget ever. I hope that they will remember me as the woman who overcame every obstacle and trauma
