World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.

My name is Oleksandra. I am 31 years old. I am from a small town, but I have been living in Kiev for about 14 years. I have several qualifications, which are fundamentally different. In the university, I majored in Investment Marketing and I have received education in interior design, decoration and fine art. For me, a learning process is the inspiration of my self-development. Therefore, I am always in the process of learning or improving/ mastering my skills. I am a Woman who understands her feminine and inner strength. I love and I’m being loved as a wife, as a woman. I have a family with great children (I have been married for 13 years and I have three children - a stepson who is 17 and two daughters, 10 and 2 years old). I have found my professional path (Interior decorator, interior stylist) and I get incredible pleasure from my activities. I found myself in the role of a lecturer, because I have enough practical knowledge to share with beginners. Moreover, I am not only a teacher, I am an inspirational figure and guardian for my students. I have many dreams and goals. I meet good people and my life is a place where miracles happen.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?

Women have an incredible potential and talents that are very useful for development and improvement of society. Government, diplomacy, business environment should actively use the potential of smart and talented women who know how to make your future better. So far, such women spend most of their energy not on achievements and improving the life of society, but on proving they can do it and on asserting themselves among men. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

It began in November 2017, when I reached the final of the Ukrainian selection of the Mrs International pageant. In April 2018, I made the top 5, getting the title of 3rd Runner Up Mrs International Ukraine. It was at that moment that I felt like a woman, a beautiful woman. In fact, before that I was a smart business woman, an activist and a professional designer. But it is very important for a woman to feel that she inspires others, to enrapture, to give her energy. After that I received the main title in Ukraine - Mrs Ukraine Globe and in November 2018 I represented my country at the international competition Mrs Globe in China.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

My husband calls me his Queen. It was he who inspired me to try myself in a completely different status. Plus my eldest daughter, Sophia, keeps telling me she has the most beautiful mother. My loved ones are my inspiration! World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

It was a challenge for myself - to see if I can do it. Participation in an international pageant is an incredible challenge, tremendous efforts of getting prepared for performances and, most importantly, an incredible work on oneself, on one’s development and formation of personality.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us

what is it about?

Since 1996, the Mrs Globe pageant has been establishing one of the most recognized and celebrated international pageants for married women in the world. They are a celebration of beauty, culture, and charity for women.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

The jury of Mrs Globe has many important evaluation criteria. The pageant program consists of 10 days filled with events. Each of which is rated. Apart from appearances, contestants are judged by their social activity, by their place in society, their behavior in front of cameras and their life values.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

Participating in Mrs Globe in China was an incredible experience. First of all, it was communication with women from all over the world, from different cultures and religious backgrounds. It was an active preparation for the contest itself - to think over your stage image not only for the finals, but also to prepare your wardrobe for the 10 days of the program that was heavily marked with activities. The most important discovery for me was the care and friendship among contestants, their support and cooperation.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer

for.

Love is my religion. This is my motto. It is very difficult for me to pass by another's trouble, I can’t ignore other people's misfortunes. So if there is anything I can do, I do not hesitate to help. I participate in several charity projects to support abandoned children in Ukraine, these babies have not yet had time to begin their lives, but have already been left without maternal love. Yet daily good deeds are also important to me - supporting a friend in need, helping a stranger on the street. After all, support is needed not only by the poor and the sick, but also by completely healthy people who are either in a difficult mental situation or in a life crisis.

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

There were publications in the press as well as live shows on television. My mission is to support the women of my country, to show them the possibility of faith in themselves, to inspire love, self-respect and good deeds.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

At the Mrs Globe pageant in China I won the title Dream Catcher and made many friends from all over the world.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

On stage I am real, the way I really am. I am open, smiling, elegant and fragile. I feel very comfortable and easy on stage.

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful

girls?

At the contest there are incredible participants. I don't try to be like anyone and don’t try to imitate anyone. I’m an individual. I am real and proudly bring my values to the world, developing my life philosophy. I love life, I smile to people around and the life smiles back at me. I really appreciate my ability to inspire and persuade other people to believe in their dreams, in their own strength. And I don’t disguise myself with layers of make-up, I don’t use shaping underwear. On stage I am real and natural.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

Being a queen is not just a title, it is a responsibility to be a worthy example for other women and girls. The queen brings her values into society, and it should be the values of kindness, love, cooperation, faith in oneself and one’s strength, love and respect in the family, support and help to the needy.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

I learned to be a Woman, to hear oneself and feel like a Woman, and not just to achieve career success. Now I know how to raise my daughters and what values to instill in them. I have a feeling that my inner world had become deeper and more filled with sense. My spouse says that now I’m beaming and my eyes are shining.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?

Every woman is beautiful, it's just not every woman has discovered and realized her beauty. Love for myself, love for my body, for my soul — it was participation in pageants that gave me the basics of this knowledge.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it

feel?

It’s thrilling! And it’s a huge responsibility! I want to get better and better, I started working more and more on myself, to get to know myself and my potential as a Woman. To be a Queen for me means an impetus for self-development. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

The most important thing is not to be afraid of the public and all the cameras. Stage music helped me a lot though. The thing is I’m a music lover and I have a delicate sense of rhythm. It was performance soundtracks that helped me to get rid of all stupid thoughts and fears in my head and to walk the stage boldly. Music helps my body obey me. I would advise you to study your body and movements in front of a mirror, to look at your advantageous angles for posing, to practice walking in the shoes, which you plan to wear on stage. Another trick is to imagine that you are on a beach, or on cozy streets of Italy, for example, where you walk, enjoying the sun and fresh air.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

The dress for the final performance should first of all fit you both in color and style. Of course, it should be comfortable to move in. Dresses for stage performances should be bright, with large details and luminous accessories. It is important to have not just a beautiful dress, but “your own outfit”.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?

Be confident in your life values and social position, speak from the heart.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

Preparation for Mrs Globe took me six months. It was in a comfortable pace, which made me enjoy the process itself. I drew dresses with seamstresses, selected fabrics, thought through all the details and accessories, selected make-up for evening wears and daily rehearsals. The main thing for me was to enjoy the participation and preparation for the competition.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you

wish you could redo and fix it? I don’t like to regret my actions or decisions. I think that there are no life mistakes, because mistakes are a natural and necessary part of our life path. And even if, on the one hand, some action was wrong, then if you look at it from a different perspective, it may turn out that this action was rational. So I do not single out errors in my life, I analyze each of my decisions or actions as an experience.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

I played in a children's theater in school. And in high school I moderated school assemblies, concerts and parties. I took my studies very seriously and, above all, I had the goal to pursue higher education. After turning 30 years of age and having taken part in the first beauty contest for married women, I received invitations to TV and radio broadcasts, to the pages of magazines, I get invited to different projects.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?

At the moment, I am in the process of developing 2 social projects that I dream to launch - a charity beauty festival (where every woman will feel beautiful and unique, will get acquainted with her femininity and deal with mental equilibrium) and a rehabilitation center to help Ukrainian children with autism learn and adapt. These are very global projects, but I can’t stop thinking about them.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

Living my life, I get the most valuable thing - life experience. I open up new opportunities and ways to develop and unleash my potential! The further, the more of these opportunities I see and have. I believe that every person is a mini universe. Happiness is not an essence that just exists in the outside world among other people, it is rather something that is born inside a person who is able to see and bring love to this world. If happiness and love live inside a human heart, it will radiate a vital glow. Other people will be attracted to this glow. Success and luck will always accompany such a person. Love yourself, get to know yourself, believe in yourself, value and develop your body and soul.
