I really appreciate. It is so amazing! During the city tour in Singapore, I received many questions from Japanese high school students group tourist. I express my heartfelt appreciation for being able to participate in this beauty pageant and express my joy on the stage.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

The national costume was handmade by me. I designed based on the image of the princess of the classic Japanese literature,” The Tale of Genji.” I chose the fabric in gold and red, which are considered lucky color in Singapore. For the makeup lesson, I practiced the pageant makeup on Youtube. Walking lessons and talent show’s songs and dances have been practiced for many years.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

First of all, I looked for the attractive walking with videos such as Youtube. For me, The Victoria Secret show was helpful. I learned the basics of walking by coaches in Japan, and practiced myself so that more internationally.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

I studied by looking at many past pageant photos. Which dress that shines on the stage? and what kind of walking will be better to create my stage story? I chose the dress that matched them. And I studied makeup and hairstyles that matched the image of the dress. Because I thought that I need to create my world on runway. If I was just looking for something that suits me, I think I could not improve myself. Then, I took 4 evening gowns as a spare so that the colors would not overlap with the previous and next contestants. I decided on a silver dress at the dressing room on the day and sewed the decorations on the spot.
