World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourselves.
My name Gelsiniy Bareeva, I'm from Russia, city of Penza. I studied and graduated with Bachelor's and Master's degrees of children education. As a child I was passionate about cross country skiing. I was a state and regional champion many times. At the moment I am working as a Russian Language teacher in Miami and Deerfield area. Also I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter. She is an elementary school student.
World Class Beauty Queens: what does women empowerment means to you?
empowerment for me means supporting and inspiring as well as leading other women. In my blog I share my life experiences and wisdom I have gained over the years of my life. I want to continue and grow my self which will give me a better chance of impacting life of women around the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: tell us about your pageant history.
I participated in Russian Miss Miami 2 times. It was great experience being chosen as top three nominees. In 2019 I became Miss International World.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to the first pageant?
As an athlete I enjoy to challenge myself. When I got the opportunity to participate in Pageant I thought it would be a fun experience. I enjoyed and wanted to continue this journey with opportunities that come way.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why you chose to compete for your current title?
I saw an opportunity that came my way. I decided to show my daughter a real life example and show her that accepting a challenge is a way to grow. Besides that, to network and meet new people to expand my blogging following in order to help more people.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system tell us what is it about?
Is for international women to show not just their beauty but also their inner values and morals. as well as their culture and traditions.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
We were judge on intelligence and talent as well as personality, confidence and body language. Also night gown.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition?
I enjoyed the Bahamas experience in a cruise line, meeting new people, being a part of the fashion show and photoshoots.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause to volunteer for?
To help children participate in plays/ theater and maybe one day they can become Broadway stars. Acting helps them to become more diverse about their life. In my blog (Miami_lifecoach on Instagram) I help women to become more confident, believe in themselves, be stronger.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearance have you done with your title?
I haven’t done any appearance yet I just won recently. In future I plan to volunteer in children educational organizations.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
Winner of many cross country ski tournament, being a mother, winning a pageant, volunteering for children education, being a motivational blogger.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
To be honest and most importantly to be myself. To show confidence in my presence
World Class Beauty Queens: What made you stand out from all those beautiful girls?
I believe that all women are unique and beautiful. In my case i stood with my unique accent, self confidence and with a classy look as well is feminine traits that can’t go on unnoticed. Perhaps my model looking body
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as a winner?
It was an unforgettable moment, i was honestly shocked and surprised. After it all ended and I was able to explain my emotions more clearly. I was very proud of myself for achieving this.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean for you to be a Beauty Queen?
To be a Beauty Queen for me means to be kind, have a good energy and have a good heart, helpful and inspirational to women.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life ?
I became more self confident. This experience will not just empower me but also everyone I am trying to help, I got a new opportunity to try myself in a fashion industry.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageant helped your self esteem and body image?
I have a harmony with my body inside and outside, for this reason I feel very comfortable with my self esteem and body image.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there? how does it feel?
I feel a responsibility to inspire and that makes me work even more on myself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Practicing in front of the mirror, feel relaxed doing that to gain confidence, watch some youtube videos to gain more knowledge
World Class Beauty Queens: Tips for winning interview ?
Make eye contact with the judges, to answer the question honestly from the bottom of your heart to show your true nature.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I did a lot research and practice in front of the mirror, the most two important things were interview and the walk, from my previous modeling i had some confidence with the walking part, for interview I watched a lot of videos. researched and practiced in front of the mirror to gain confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens: What one mistake you made during the competition that you can redo?
I felt I did the best I could so I wouldn’t have to change anything, I was just myself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are done by other girls during contest?
I was focused on my performance and enjoyed the experience, actually maybe some of them could have done a better walk.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
At the moment I am acting at the local Russian theater. I had a chance to study a bit of modeling in 2011.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a queen?
To participate in as many events as possible and volunteering and get modeling experience.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy you want to leave behind?
