World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I am an Endodontist by profession, a fashion enthusiast by passion and a social worker in substance. I am an Indian by origin living in United Kingdom. I was born and brought up in Jaipur. My parents Mr. Gurbhej Singh Chawla and Mrs. Surjit Kaur Chawla are the sources of my inspiration and the key people behind all my achievements. I have been a topper throughout my educational career. I am a National Scholar, receiver of Gargi Puruskar, Gold medalist and also receiver of best academic performance by University of Warwick, U.K. I did my Bachelors degreee from RUHS, India and my Masters in Endodontics from University of Warwick, U.K. My husband Mr. Banmeet Singh is my strength and a huge support. I am a mother to my 4 year old son Vian who is the apple of my eyes. My sister Mrs. Simarpreet has supported me in all my endeavors to reach heights. I believe I have received a lot in my life and its time to give back to society. So, all my endeavors do contain a social element as well.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
According to me, women empowerment means a social, psychological, financial and spiritual status of equality for all women. When women are treated, respected and valued as equals, then I believe we have done something for women empowerment.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I was always attracted to pageant world but was too busy with my academic career so was not able to enter in my teens but after marriage I told my wish to my husband who supported me fully and I started my journey. I won the following titles: Mrs India Queen of Substance, Mrs India UK, Mrs Body Beautiful, Mrs Coventry Galaxy, Mrs North Pacific Asia and most recently Mrs Universe EV.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
My husband
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
Because it favors my mission: Women empowerment.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
In my opinion the contestant can carry the pageant title in a way she likes. So, my idea was to show the world that beauty can be associated with clear thinking, academic excellence, professional integrity and social causes. I am and would be using all my titles towards social causes I believe in and for these all the pageants I am associated with are great platforms.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
Appearance, Physical Fitness, Intelligence, Social commitments, Talents and Speaking skills.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
The experience is truly amazing. I have worked in different segments prior but pageantry is totally unique. An experience to cherish for life.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I am currently working and very keen to improve my work towards Women Empowerment as I feel empowered women led to empowered society. Also, I work for Oral hygiene Awareness as a lot of systemic diseases are associated with oral health and this being my profession I can spread awareness more effectively.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
I have visited and conducted talks in Special schools, women organisations and school nursery. I have been on TV and Radio [BBC, AIR,FM] for interviews, also have attended press conferences to spread my views on the platform I support.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
I have earned several awards and laurels for my academic performances and also for my passion and interests. Now I have many beauty titles to my name as well. I feel honored, privileged and I cherish all of them.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
To be myself as I think I am the best version of a beauty queen, so nothing could work better than showing the judges my true self.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I think beauty enhances manifolds when confidence and intelligence are incorporated along. And I think I possess all these qualities.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
I felt very nice, honored and out of the world. One of the most cherished moments of my life.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
A lot of responsibility to carry my title gracefully and live up to the expectations of the title, pageant and all the contestants and aspiring girls.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
It has given me a wider platform to enhance my social activities. Also I am able to motivate a wider section of society to encourage their daughters, wives, sisters to make a name for themselves.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
It has had increased my self esteem manifold. I always believed I was beautiful and attractive but these titles have made me realize how it feels when the world believes it too.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
Amazing. But also a lot of responsibilities are linked to it and I am happy to carry those.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
To my pageant walk is the largest time you are talking to the audience and judges. So, just talk with your walk. Show the confidence, show who you are through your walk.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
I would advice everyone to choose a dress to suit their body types. Dress your shape and pay attention to the colours that suit you and also the ramp stage.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
Talk your heart out. If you try to be fake, that can easily be make out. So, in the interview just be honest.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I put a lot of efforts towards physical fitness, pageant dress selections, my talent round and towards my diet.Â
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I don’t think I have made big mistakes else I would not have got the titles I have.
World Class Beauty Queens:Â What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
I think if you fake, it doesn’t work. So present your  true self.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
Not as yet but getting a lot of offers so fingers crossed!
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?
I hope to be associated with events promoting my platform, educating and interacting with people. And also to carry my titles in helping organisations towards social reforms.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I wish to create a socially successful reign that the suceeding queens love to incorporate in their ways.
