World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.

I was born in Mexico and raised in the United States. I come from a very tight knit, supportive, and non-judgmental family. I am grateful to have friends that are also very supportive of my modeling and acting career. I’m a very passionate person, and I put all my heart and soul into everything I commit to. I work full time in a predominately male field as a Non-Destructive Testing inspector. I am proud to say I am a Level 3 of American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT). I’m also proud to be one of approximately 6,000 people in the world who have their ASNT Level 3 certification, in a field of less than 4% women. World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment mean to you?

Empowerment to me means inspiring, motivating, and encouraging others to follow their dreams regardless of whatever flaws or weaknesses they might think they have.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

As of now, I have no pageant history. Ms. Illinois Petite is my first title, and hoping for more titles in the future.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

I have always considered myself a public figure, however, standing alone is very difficult to individually and publicly influence people about my platform. I’m a strong believer that pageantry helps promote and inspire platforms. For this reason I was motivated to join my first pageant.

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

My willingness and attitude to serve and help people.  I want to inspire, motivate, and empower.  I want to make an impact on people's life and encourage them to have confidence and believe in themselves.   Despite all the challenges we encounter in our daily lives, move forward, dream big, and achieve it. World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Founded in 2009, USA Petite is the official United States preliminary to the Miss Universal Petite pageant.  With a vision of serving, to empower and celebrate petite beauty 5'6" or less.  It's a sisterhood of leadership, kindness, and encouragement of personal platforms that provides the opportunity to be a voice and a spokesmodel.  This pageant supports and empowers all petite women and offers four different divisions, Teen, Miss, Ms., and Mrs. that gives  the opportunity for every age group, regardless of height to fulfill their dreams through pageantry. World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

Evening Gown 25%, Swimwear 25%, Interview 35%, and On Stage Questions 15% World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

As of yet I have not experienced the thrill of the competition, but I'm sure it will be phenomenal.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

My platform is 'Dream Big'.  To inspire, motivate, and empower children with mental illness and physical deformities. World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

In the beginning of 2020, I organized a trip with my family to a small, poverty stricken village in Mexico.  The purpose of the trip was to make several donations in the form of food, toys, clothing, and school supplies.  I have attended events to support and help the youth establish their platforms.  I wear my sash and crown to social and personal outings as a conversation starter to speak out about my platform.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

I feel that being Ms. Petite Illinois is my greatest achievement.  It will open up so many opportunities and help me reach new achievements.

I have been on the cover of multiple magazines, and have been featured in many others.  As a model, in 2018 I won the RRCI Oscar Award for Chicago Model of the Year, and I have accomplished many satisfying goals from runway to print.  My greatest work related achievement has been accomplishing my ASNT Level 3 certification. World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

I'm small, but I walk like I'm a beautiful giant.  I stand out by having a strong sense of confidence and passion that allows me to embrace life for what it is and live every moment to its fullest.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

Being a beauty queen is not all about beauty.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and comes from within.  A beauty queen should have an outgoing personality, great character, and be easy going and open minded.  A beauty queen is one who balances beauty with intelligence.  Use your inner beauty to empower, inspire, and influence others.  That's what makes a beauty queen! World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

There's more to being a queen than wearing a crown.  Being a beauty queen comes with great responsibility.  You must maintain a respectful character, as well as be appealing and approachable to people of all ages.  Your hard work has paid off now that you won the title, but your journey begins now.  Be confident in all that you do.  Confidence is everything. World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

Confidence is everything!  Be confident in your own skin.  Making good eye contact with each individual judge allows you to show that you are projecting what they are looking for in a winning contestant.  Smile big! World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

I have a great coach, Crystal Cavey, who has an abundance of experience.  I push myself above my limits, give myself encouragement and motivation to always do my best.  I also watch a lot of competition videos that have helped me along the way.  My mirror provides me with the best constructive criticism.  World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Practice, Practice, Practice.  Watch a lot of videos and if you feel you need more training utilize a coach.  The mirror is your best friend, use it. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

It is important to choose a dress that boosts your confidence.  The style of your dress should flatter your best physical features, and the color of your dress should complement your skin tone.  The dress should be unique and an eye-catcher for the audience and judges. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for a winning interview?

A beauty queen should be articulate, and answer all questions genuinely and be confident in her answers. World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

If I were to make any mistakes during my competition, I will take them all as a learning experience. World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

My modeling experience consists of runway, fashion shows, photo shoots, print advertisements, being featured in various magazines, and being on the cover of multiple magazines.  In the acting industry, I have done television commercials and have been an extra for television shows.  My passion and drive for the future is to make it big in the fashion and film industry. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?

I will continue to be the source of empowerment for all the children with mental and physical deformities. I will utilize my platform and continue to grow as a advocate.  I want to travel to various countries and across the United States to promote my platform and share my success stories.  I will tackle all new and existing opportunities that may come my way. World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

It is important for me to be remembered for empowering, inspiring, and motivating people to live their dreams.  I hope that my legacy will live beyond my existence and continue to inspire people through genuine acts of kindness.  My platform is "Dream Big".  Live your dreams, not your fears.
