My goal is to obtain a bachelor’s degree in fashion design to become a Fashion Designer and have my own name brand, run my own fashion shows, and see my creations come to life on a model.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
In my opinion, women empowerment means becoming stronger and more confident because you believe in yourself, as well as, becoming the best version of yourself.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I won El Paso's baby pageant at the age of 2; I officially started modeling with a local agency at the age of 7; competed for Jr. Little Miss El Paso at the age of 9- obtaining 3rd runner up; won El Paso's Little Top Model at the age of 11; was crowned Little Miss El Paso at the age of 13 and most recently was crowned Miss West Texas Outstanding Teen at 14.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Honestly, the reaction - seeing the girl get crowned and watching her reaction made me want to be a princess too.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
Many people were encouraging me and rooting for me so I felt extremely confident.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
The America system is a scholarship program and it stands for education, community service, women empowerment, diversity, talent and confidence. The four points of the crown stand for Style, Scholarship, Service, and Success.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
The highest score is based on the Interview and Talent, but we also compete in active wear, formal and on-stage question.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
For this competition, I was not very nervous even though this was my first competition in which I was required to perform a Talent. I was excited about all the things I learned about the program and was inspired to adopt a Platform that reflects how I feel about promoting kindness.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. My platform is called "Chain of Love." It is about how a Random Act of Kindness may mean nothing to the wold but it can mean the world to someone. To promote my platform, I volunteered at my old elementary school and talk with the students to raise awareness about Random Acts of Kindness and the impact it has on others.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
Since I won my title in March, I have done a number of appearances. Be confident and give it 100% every time I stand on stage.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? All the girls I compete with are amazing, talented and they are all unique and deserving of the crown, but what makes me unique is that I am confident, dedicated, and a positive role model that inspires others.
