World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.

"Khudi ko kar buland itna, ki har taqdeer se pehle, khuda bande se khud pooche, bata teri raza kya hai"

With an unshakeable faith in the blessings of the universe and trust in my own potential, I am Aditi Taneja, a dreamer with a passion to succeed. I admire about myself that I am capable of turning any problems into opportunities. Also, I am an early riser which helps me plan my day better. I believe anything is possible with hardwork and dedication.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your education.

I have done postgraduate in MBA Finance post my engineering degree and have been a scholar throughout my academic studies.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women Empowerment means to you?

Women empowerment means giving power or the authority in the hands of a person who not just aims towards the completion of the task but aims towards making the journey to the task enjoyable. And this combination of compassion with hardwork is actually what is required in the society today. A lady is a powerhouse who cannot just be independent but can support the society too with her compassion and hardwork and make the world a better place to be.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.

It was a WOW moment for me when I won the 2nd Runner Up Mrs India International Queen 2022, which gave me a new sense of confidence and a belief that nothing is impossible. Having come from a financial research domain, I was initially skeptical about participating in an international beauty pageant "Mrs India International Queen" as it was something completely out of my domain and truly out of my comfort zone. However, the platform was an enriching experience to share the stage with so many diverse personalities from different domains but with a common motto to do something for the society. With this platform I learnt that never be afraid of trying something new, even if its completely different from what you are currently doing. Sometimes, it can just create new mind blowing opportunities for you. And you have just one life, so leave no regrets of having not tried when you could!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

Lockdown crisis taught us so much about the impermanence of life. So, before I die, I wanted to do something which I can treasure for lifetime, something very different from the mundane routine stuff. Also, having won, I think this platform gives you an amazing opportunity to do something valuable for society. The dual pleasure of having won the crown and an opportunity to serve humanity is the best combo I think I could do in this lifetime, which I can look back and treasure.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

Usually people think that they can just be good at one thing. And with that mind blockage, we spend our whole lives doing the mundane routine stuff. And when we need a break, the maximum that we do is take a vacation. Having been a scholar all throughout my education, I had developed a limiting belief to myself that I am meant for studies. For once, I wanted to go beyond my mind blockage and break all barriers. So this time, I challenged myself to try something different. Having experienced this magic myself, I can assure you that life is much bigger than we think. There is so much more to life. So enjoy life to the fullest and never let go of an opportunity to explore.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Mrs India International Queen lives by its motto ‘Be Strong, Be Confident, Be you’. It gives a platform to international and Indian married women to showcase their talent, live their dreams and inspire others. They believe that every woman is unique and beautiful in her own way. And the pageant has no limitations for an aspiring and deserving candidate. They encourage Women Empowerment and promote cultural heritage encouraging the participants to use their talent to raise awareness in the aid of humanity to make real differences to the society.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?

Participants are judged on their overall personality based on their performance in various rounds like introduction round, talent round, ramp walk etc. While being able to carry various different outfits with grace in front of cameras and flashing lights demonstrates the confidence of participants, the various questionnaire rounds demonstrate their intellect and wisdom. I would say confidence and wisdom are two major criterias for judging. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

I would say that my experience during the competition was wholesome. Practicing for various rounds of competition helped me instill a sense of self-belief and confidence and also helped me a chance for self-introspection. Meeting so many talented ladies from various different domains was a great exposure. Each day we were being trained to catwalk with different choreography sequences based on various outfits. It was a feel into the glamour world specially on the last day of press conference. I loved every moment of it. Also, the director of the show Mrs. Ankita Saroha has always been so supportive throughout my journey. Post the event, I have even more respect for people belonging to the fashion industry now as I understand now the unimaginable amount of hard work it requires in the background even for a single event.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. I volunteer for various NGOs supporting welfare of the society. I try to help not just monetarily but also by doing seva. I specially like the concept of langar in Gurudwaras which serve the basic need of humanity and is open for all. If given an opportunity i would like to develop a life skills based education system in India so that we are able to imbibe cultural values in kids in the initial stages of childhood so that they become emotionally mature adults.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?

I have been invited to be a jury and mentor at a few fashion events. Also i plan to participate in the Divine activities being conducted by the Mrs India International Queen pageant team in due course of time supporting various NGO's.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements?

I believe my biggest achievement in life is the transformation I achieved over last two years. Pre-pandemic, life was just about doing routine tasks during day time, doze off at night, wake up next morning and same routine followed. However, post-pandemic, I tried to make few changes in my lifestyle which helped me improve my quality of life. Now other than normal routine tasks, I am doing lot of other things for society and for myself which has made life much more meaningful. I try to spend one hour daily for myself on my self growth and improvise every single day to become a better version of myself.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

I believe that one trait that makes me stand out from all other beautiful girls is the ability to convert challenges into opportunities. I am a solution oriented personality and rather than focusing on the problem at hand, I usually focus on how can I use this situation to improvise my life.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

It was an overwhelming moment for me as it was quite a tough competition and all final contestants were quite well deserving. To be able to shine among the best of the best is an amazing experience in itself which reinformed my self-belief and self-confidence. It finally felt all the efforts being paid-off. It actually gives me goose bumps even today to feel through that crowning moment on the stage. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? Being a beauty queen comes with a plethora of responsibilities, like doing something for yourself and for society. You become a role model for many women and can be a big motivator so that they live the life of their dreams, are able to dream big and follow their passion irrespective of the life stage they are in. I would consider it to be fulfilling if I am able to pursuade women to go beyond their self limiting beliefs and follow their dreams irrespctive of the age they are in. Giving back to the society has always been my objective and I’m sure this platform will help me engage and volunteer even more.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life? Participating in this pageant was a life transformational experience for me as it helped me reinforce my worthiness and capabilties, to be able to succeed in unexplored areas of life. I was actually able to go out of my comfort zone and did things which I never imagined doing ever in my life. All the efforts in the preparation for this pageant led to self discovery and growth. It has helped me become mentally strong with a sense of strong self-belief and faith in supreme power. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image? It helped me boost my self-confidence, internally and externally. It helped me to realize that you are what you are no matter what others say about you. Don't be an object of other people's opinions as they are just opinions. The ultimate thing I learned is self-belief which helped me transform my perspective towards vastness and miracle of life which we should always appreciate. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? It feels great to be an inspiration to many, to be an epitome of confidence and worthiness. However, something that would make me even more happier would be to be able to serve humanity in some way or the other, especially women. As to me, a woman helping or cheering for another woman is a true form of women empowerment.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

I didn't go there with any strategy per se. But I believe what helped me achieve the crown was clarity of thoughts, clear communication and a confident posture with a smile that mesmerizes all. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?

The whole experience of preparing for the pageant immensely helped me in going beyond my limits and doing everything that I had never imagined doing. Practicing cat walk in high heels, improvising looks and body toning, preparing for a yoga performance and practicing to speak confidently in front of the mirror are few of the things I did in lieu of the preparation. It ultimately helped me appear my best and confident on the final day of performance. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Choose a pair of high stable heels and start practicing walking in those if you are not used to it. You can use videos published on the pageant site which are quite helpful in giving you tips to practice your walk, your pose etc. You may try practicing with various different types of outfits so that you are actually comfortable on the final performance day. Also, if possible, try to make sketches for choreography sequence and practice multiple times. Remember - practice leads to perfection. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

The choice of outfit should be based on the comfort level you have in the dress. There is no point in choosing a beautiful outfit and not feeling confident in wearing it as that ultimately shows in some or the other way. The outfit should look elegant on you and should be able to carry it confidently with grace.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?

Its important that you answer honestly what you truly believe. I would suggest don't try to learn your answers beforehand, instead speak spontaneously as you think. Being able to control your train of thoughts while answering the questions is the ultimate key for success in a pageant. Be confident while answering the questions and don't forget to smile!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

My journey in the pageant has been a very enriching experience. So, I don't really think I would want to redo or fix anything, rather cherish these moments throughout my life. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

I would say that few things that candidates can improvise on are better preparation, positive mindset and approach and being prepared for any exigency at hand. Also, don't be disappointed if case anyone doesn't win because life is much better with a positive mindset.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?

This was my first ever remarkable pageant experience till date. But this has opened me up to embrace any similar experiences that come my way in the future. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?

As a queen and ambassador of the prestigious Mrs India International Queen pageant, I would like to promote all the initiatives of this pageant for its success. Also, I would like to give back to the society by supporting various NGOs in the fields of women empowerment, orphanage, special needs education, life-skill based education, etc.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

I would like to remembered as an epitome of success and courage, a women who can rise back again from the lowest point in her life and refuses to give up.
